Food prices and flavor don’t really matter when things hit the fan. Quick summary (TLDR) at bottom.
My brother, my father and his wife, my wife, and myself of course, went late on the evening of December 28th. My brother, who is physically disabled and noticeably so, leaned against the counter, as no tables or handrails were available, and accidentally knocked over the cone size display. One cone size was destroyed, but no other damage was done to the stand or other three display cones. My brother apologized and explained what happened, as the staff didn’t see the full event. The staff demanded $25, yes $25 not a mistype, for the cone that was destroyed. My brother not being the one who was paying for the treat, and not having the money, informed the staff of that and let them know who they needed to talk to. Our father tried to tell them that he would pay for it, but they wouldn’t listen to him, instead continuing to go after my brother, and threatening to call the police for theft. After persisting he told them, “I’m not paying you, you need to talk to them (pointing at our father and myself) I don’t have any money.” at which point our father restated he was paying, and I took my brother outside to de-escalate the situation. Not but moments after one staff member followed us and continued to harass my brother. My brother offered the staff member the only thing he had, literally taking off his jacket and trying to hand it over to them. At that point a second staff member came out, to his credit he seemed to want to de-escalate the situation as well, our father then came out and asked what the problem was. Pointing out again that he already said he would pay for it. Both staff then returned to being rude and demanding that we leave, remember my brother and I already stepped out, and continued to accuse us of theft. After stating we had no intention to return the staff went inside. My father’s wife and my wife paid for the things we had ordered and extra for the destroyed cone (no one seemed to notice they were with us). I understand that it’s a busy night, but this kind of treatment of anyone is unacceptable. Staff was told by both my brother and father who would be paying for the accident, and on top of that my father wasn’t even trying to talk them down on the ridiculous $25 price, for a display cone that cost them less than .25¢ to replace.
TLDR My disabled brother accidentally destroyed a .25¢ ice cream cone on the cone size display, the staff demanded $25, my brother and father tells them that our father was the one paying, they accused my brother of theft for not paying, followed him and I out of the store when I took him out to calm the situation after our father restated he would pay, and demanded we leave when we were already outside, and our wives paid for our order and the...
Read moreCustomer service nightmare! We were so excited when we saw that you guys started service creme brulee croissants. We ordered what we thought were 6 of the creme brulee croissants online for pickup the next morning. Unfortunately we made a mistake and pressed “creme brulee” on the website so we were almost given just the regular dessert. When asked if I can order the creme brulee croissants we were told that they were sold out and to call next time to place that order since it wasn’t yet on the online menu. After I realized there was another store right down the road I thought to call that store and ask if they had any. A man answered the phone and said they have 4. Yay! Well when I got there, I was told by this very nice girl that they’re only made at the 8 cathedral place location. She said they definitely had 4 of them at that location even though I was just told they didn’t. She advised me to go back and ask for them. I walked back to cathedral pl and the second I walked through the door, the girl working was on her phone, looked at me, and furiously opened the back “doors”. Somehow they magically had the croissants in the back within the 10 minutes I was gone. She came out with only one and plopped it on the counter. When I said I asked for 4 she was visibly upset and went to the back to go get 4 more. From the receipt this rude girls name was Lindsay. The croissants were great but unfortunately this girl made me never want to visit a Le Macaron again assuming that the boss of this company would let someone rude like Lindsay work for them. Also based on past reviews….this is not a...
Read moreOMG this place was incredible!! Macarons are the epitome of edible elegance — tiny jewels of French patisserie that manage to capture both artistry and indulgence in a single bite. Each delicate shell, with its whisper-thin crispness, gives way to a chewy almond heart that melts seamlessly into the creamy filling. The texture alone is a triumph: airy yet substantial, fragile yet satisfying.
But what makes macarons truly unforgettable is their kaleidoscope of flavors. From classic pistachio and velvety vanilla to daring passionfruit, rose, or salted caramel, every variation feels like a miniature story told through sugar and almond flour. The sweetness is never overpowering; instead, it dances on the palate, balanced with subtle nuttiness and the richness of ganache, buttercream, or jam.
Beyond flavor, macarons are a feast for the eyes. Their pastel hues and glossy tops look like they’ve stepped straight out of a Parisian boutique window, making them as delightful to behold as they are to eat.
A macaron isn’t just a dessert — it’s an experience. It’s the sensation of refined craftsmanship, of centuries of tradition perfected and then reimagined. Whether enjoyed alongside a cup of espresso in a bustling café or savored slowly in the quiet of your home, these little confections never fail...
