The Treasury on the Plaza — Attraction in Saint Augustine

Getting married at the Treasury on the Plaza was such a dream come true! The entire Treasury staff was so easy to work with - they went above and beyond, exceeding our expectations. Carli, our coordinator, is amazing!

We got married on July 23rd, 2023 and bought the “intimate wedding package” which was perfect for us - we live in Texas and we knew it would be difficult to plan a wedding remotely, so having a package that was all-inclusive was key. All the vendors the Treasure picked for us were top notch, we wouldn’t have changed one single thing! They made the planning process easy and fun, we loved coming into town a few months before our wedding to have a full weekend of tastings, samplings, and picking the finer details, all organized by our coordinators. It’s amazing to see the different varieties of colors in their lighting to set the mood for every part of the night, getting to customize the look it really made us get excited for the big day. They even gave us a complimentary bar tasting to help us pick our “his & her” drinks, Allan was our bartender for the tasting and we liked him so much, we special requested him for our wedding! He and Jade were our bartenders for our wedding, both so great!! The vault bar is so cool, it feels like you’re inside of a speak easy.

As the bride, I thought I would be stressed and anxious the whole day. I woke up that morning without a care in the world. Grace (Uncorked Occasions), was our other coordinator the Treasury included with our package. That morning, she came to my B&B that was around the corner from the venue and picked up my wedding dress to bring to the venue as I got my hair and makeup done; she made sure everything was already at the venue & ready to go, I didn’t have to worry about a thing. When we got to the venue, my bridesmaids got to enjoy themselves hanging out in the bridal suite drinking mimosas while we took our bride & groom portraits around the venue, it was so nice that the girls could just relax without worrying about helping with décor set up. The entire day was so smooth from start to finish and nothing felt rushed or forced. After our ceremony, we did our family photos while the guests were in the cocktail hour. Right before the cocktail hour was over, my husband and I got to have a first look of the room decorated for the reception and it was so cool to see everything before the rest of the guests. We were in awe with how perfect the decorating team brought our image together! We were then stashed into the vault while we waited for the guests to come in and take their seats, and Carli served us appetizers from the cocktail hour and made us our his & her drinks. We had a solid 15 minutes to relax and have a few bites to eat before our first dance, which was amazing because usually people who get married say they don’t have a chance to eat or have any moments to themselves. Even though the day went by fast, I felt like the Treasury staff still made sure we had moments here and there where we can soak it all in and just be the two of us before the craziness begins.

Every single guest is still talking about the wedding and how it was so much fun and such an epic day! I am still in awe and completely blown away with how perfect everything was. I am not overexaggerating when I say that the Treasury is literally the perfect venue if you want the most amazing wedding you can ever possibly imagine. It’s so worth the money, I would do it over and over again every single year if I could afford it. BOOK THIS VENUE YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. The only thing I’m so sad about is that I can’t wake up EVERY SINGLE DAY and relive it. I wanted to live in that day forever. I say one of the best, because I truly believe we did a great job picking all of our vendors and I would hire all of them again in a heartbeat! After finding the Treasury online and visiting one of their open house events, my then-fiancé (now husband) and I knew that this would likely be our venue. Even still, we toured other venues for good measure and none came close to the Treasury. I mean, just look at it! Where else are you going to find this kind of grandeur combined with excellent professionalism and hospitality? So, we decided to move forward with the Treasury, and the staff was fantastic from start to finish - nothing short of professional. Any time we called, we were able to speak with someone immediately. Emails were returned promptly as well. The billing process is very simple and straightforward, handled professionally as well. No shenanigans or bait-and-switches. The level of service leading up to our big day was unparalleled and they were THE BEST communicators of the entire vendor list we have. You need good communicators when you’re planning a wedding! In the final few months the real fun began and we got to have our bar tasting and walk through which was such a great experience! The bar manager was there and she crafted us several drinks each based on the flavor profiles we described (these cocktails didn't previously exist), until we landed on our two unique signature drinks. You’ll have a final walk through meeting where you can decide on your lighting timeline, discuss your final vision/seating chart etc etc. (Side note: MAJOR SHOUT OUT to Shannon with Everleigh Events. Look no further this woman is the day-of coordinator YOU NEED.) The day of went very seamlessly. The reception was incredibly fun, the vault bar was so unique, and the layout of the room was great. We had about 80-85 people and the room felt nice and full. As I said, we got married at a different location and while our guests were at cocktail hour enjoying themselves… we (husband and bridal party) were taking photos. We got to the venue about 20 minutes behind schedule due to the ceremony starting a bit late and photos as well, but as the couple we didn't stress it because everyone handled the situation like champions and the venue staff was flexible with our timeline. They basically kept everyone in cocktail hour an extra 30 minutes to give us time to do our couple's room reveal, hide in the vault, eat our appetizers, and then bring in the guests to the main area. They didn’t stress us over anything (we didn’t have to make any of these decisions, they just happened behind the scenes thanks to Shannon and the venue staff being fantastic). Also, the bartender was FANTASTIC wow the drinks were AMAZING. We chose the "Gold" package and it was perfect. When I say all our guests were amazed by the venue and the professionalism of all of our vendors, I mean it! This is our vendor list and we have NO REGRETS! The Treasury on the Plaza is the ultimate venue for a wedding! My husband and I were married there in April 2021. The Treasury is incredibly unique and beautiful. Nothing beats those high ceilings, gorgeous columns and a bar inside of an old banks vault! The day we toured this place, my heart was set. This venue has incredible lighting, personalized monograms and many other special effects such as cold sparks, bubble machine and my personal favorite- the fog machine to make your day even more special. The fog machine made our first dance appear as if we were dancing on a cloud!

All of these details are what makes The Treasury on the Plaza the best place to be married at. Our night was magical and we were able to sit back and enjoy it. An example of this is the day of the wedding a champagne bottle and hand written card from Katie was waiting upon my arrival or that the Treasury coordinates a room reveal for Bride and Groom before guests transition into the reception. We see it before anyone else and are then guided into the vault where appetizers, our favorite cocktails and chairs to sit down in were waiting for us! We also liked that they post your wedding on their Instagram stories (if permission is granted) as they capture a few photos and videos to look back on the next day.

It is also convenient for guests to stay in one building for both ceremony and reception as the cocktail lounge provides both a bar and food service while staff makes the room flip in less than an hour. The way they flip that room is astonishing! The Treasury staff is exceptional. The staff treated us like royalty from day 1 by little things such as providing champagne during our visits, welcoming tours throughout the planning process to show the venue to other family members, regularly checking up on us and always responding promptly throughout.

Each couple is assigned a Treasury coordinator as well and I was lucky enough to have Katie Leonard who was the absolute best. Katie and the team were there from beginning to end, taking care all of the details so we could relax. The Treasury staff always answered any questions, were flexible on due dates or changes, provided suggestions and support in whatever area needed and even went as far as to create our signature drink sign for our night! Anything you could possibly need, they will have those needs met and always with a joyful spirit. Every employee there is incredibly professional and kind. They go above and beyond. The Treasury on the Plaza made our wedding what it was- and that is spectacular!

Many guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Guests complimented how smoothly the night ran and how beautiful each moment looked. The guests especially loved the vault bar and options of liquors, wines and cocktails they provide. The bar tasting with Allan before the wedding to customize our cocktails was such a fun experience for my family and I. Anything we wanted could be done for us!

This team is the best in the business. This venue is the most breathtaking place to get married. You will be spoiled and taken care of by the Treasury team.
