I used EPC for computer repair and I definitely would recommend avoiding them for that use. I have an MSI Leopard and needed new hinges installed. When I turned it in to EPC they told me I needed several other parts replaced as well which I agreed to, and they quoted me to replace those parts with manufacturer produced parts. They told me it would take three weeks to receive those parts and make the repairs. I called them three weeks later and they had not even ordered the parts yet. A week later I called again and they had received the parts but they were “incorrect”. It would be another two weeks before the correct parts arrived. I called two weeks later and the person who answered the phone waffled when I asked where my laptop was. Someone else called half an hour later to tell me they once again received (ordered) the wrong parts from China and it would be another two weeks before my repair was completed. I called two weeks later and ONCE AGAIN they “received” (ordered) the wrong parts again and it would be ANOTHER two weeks before my laptop would be repaired. Another 4 weeks later and I finally receive my “repaired” laptop, except instead of manufacturer parts they used SUPER CHEAP aftermarket parts and even attempted to charge me more for these parts. I argued with them and they “gracefully” lowered the price to the original quote. Nearly all of these cheap aftermarket parts have since broken (this laptop puts out some HEAT and needs well produced parts to withstand it) and now I’m back at square one. I’m sure EPC is great at repairing your run of the mill Dell computers but do not turn to them for any “performance”...
Read moreI am extremely disappointed with this company. I sent in two tablets for repairs in May 2024, and since then, the entire process has been a nightmare. Initially, communication was somewhat consistent, but as time went on, responses became sparse and unhelpful.
By July, I was informed that only one unit could be repaired due to motherboard damage on the second. I clearly requested that the working unit be shipped back and a refund for the non-repairable unit, along with the return of the SSD drive and stylus pen holder from the damaged tablet. Despite multiple follow-ups, I received no meaningful updates.
In August, after weeks of silence, I was told the tablets were mistakenly sent to a Texas warehouse and would be rerouted. They claimed both units were now repaired and included upgraded 512GB drives—a sudden, unexplained change that didn’t align with prior communications. They provided a tracking number, but the shipment never moved.
It's now February 2025, and I still haven’t received my devices. They’ve completely stopped responding to my messages, and it feels like they’ve stolen my property. I’ve been more than patient, but their lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer service is unacceptable.
I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. Save yourself the hassle and frustration—find a business that values their customers and honors their...
Read moreI went into EPC looking to update my laptop. They told me that it’s Windows 7 and they can’t update it and that I’d have to buy a new one. All I asked for is 1TB, lighted keyboard and large screen. I walked out with a HP Elitebook. Got it home and it wouldn’t work. I brought it back and they said they’d fix it. I returned the next day and the gave me a Zbook bc they couldn’t fix the Elitebook. I got it home and my daughter told me that this is not a 1TB and screen is small. I do alot of zoom meetings and my camera is terrible and grainy. I mention this to EPC and I was told that they upgraded me to a dedicated graphic card (Which is in-needed) but downgraded me to 512MB. A told EPC that all I asked for is 1TB and lighted keys. I was told that if I wanted 1TB then I should go to Amazon and get an external drive. Should have just bought a new laptop elsewhere. My HP Pavilion has lasted 17 yrs and still is a really nice computer....
