We used to be regulars here but we will likely not be back for a while. The last 4 times we've been the service has been terrible. These new bartenders are just plain lousy. They will often leave you with an empty glass for long periods of time while they stand at the end of the bar by the taps talking to off duty coworkers. Then they will focus solely on walk up customers who sit at tables and neglect the people sitting at the bar. My last visit they walked past the people sitting across from us for over 15 minutes while one bartender talked to his friends and the other one served walk up customers only. I spent that whole time with an empty glass in front of me. If they were busy I would understand, but it wasn't busy that night. We decided after our 4th visit with lousy service we won't be back. Hopefully this place gets their act together because this was our favorite brewery in the area since they opened, but their new bartenders are just awful. The beer is awesome but good luck getting one.

EDIT: After those poor experiences and leaving that review 2 years we tried coming back a while later and had an excellent experience. In fact, in 2 years since then, every time we've been here since it has been top-notch. The bartenders are friendly and attentive and make sure your glass is always full. The beers and food are always awesome, too. I'm adjusting my review from...

This is a absolute must for the beer connoisseur who knows what a great balance and blend should be in a beer, without knocking you off your chair with too much of this or that. Food....is a separate business, and a delightful change from the ordinary. Food was amazing!!! Beer, amazing!!! Pairing can be a " snobs" challenge, but I accepted and was surprised every bite and drink, which kept changing! For the better! That's crazy good!! Definitely the mark of sure superb excellence. I'm going to have to get more than my 10,000 steps in because this place will know me be name. Well done and hats off to the owners.

6/24/18. I have to give a HUGE shout out to Cory, what an awesome menu! This is my first Sunday brunch and the music was amazing, not too loud, very enjoyable, but OMG, the Scotch eggs are the most amazing thing ever!!!! Never heard of or had them before and I took a chance. Cory is the 5 🌟 guru of the window kitchen!!! Warning.... You need to do a flight to pair with the Scotch eggs, that's all Abbey's fault. LoL Another wonderful day at...

Third Wheel is awesome, we've been in about a dozen times. Nice open place. Good beers. I like darker beers and it seems they have a stout, porter, and brown ale on tap at all times. They've had a coffee porter and imperial stout as special tappings. My friends like hoppier beers and all enjoy their APA & IPA. Good options on the guest taps, too. Cheap growler fills on Sundays. Food is really good & comes out fast. I've enjoyed everything I've tried: the burger, wings, soup, pretzels, fries (with about 15 available dipping sauces). Plenty of entertainment: big screen TV for sports, trivia nights, and live bluegrass on Sundays. They probably have 25 board games-the Connect Four occupied my little ones for quite awhile. Golden Tee and an arcade game that has all the classics: DK, Galaga, etc. My only suggestion-some kind of rewards program. After you drink about 10-12 pints, you...

Okay place. The kids split chicken tenders and a pretzel - and those were both very good. The wife and I tried buffalo chicken and a cheeseburger. Both had interesting takes and if you are looking for the standard fare - this isn't for you. The cook staff (you place your order at the kitchen window) was friendly, but the bartender acted like they had other places they would rather be. It was difficult getting their attention. You do bus your own table at the end of the meal. So another place where you walk to a counter to order, go pick up your meal when the buzzer goes off, walk to get drinks / refills (where you pay a separate tab), bus your table, and still be expected to leave a 20% tip. To be fair - we were there on a Sunday afternoon. Maybe not the best representation of the place, but with so many places out there I doubt we will be back to give it another shot.

Ugh... I hate places that don't have a telephone number. I have questions ... you have answers for the love of pete just let my talk to someone. Any drink specials tonight? How about small batch beers? Is it busy there now? Do you still have xxx on tap? You get the point. UPDATE 5-July-17: Now that Third Wheel is an Untapped venue, it is easier to see what is on tap right now. They have added a phone number to their website, however it appears to only go to voicemail. We live in a real-time world and sometimes need instant feedback, the telephone is still the best method for real-time communication. Upgrading my review by one star for addressing some of these issues. UPDATE 28-July-2017: They have been consistently rolling out new and good beers since opening. Keep up the good job. Upgrading one star for nailing the beers!!

This is a pretty good-sized place with a smallish selection of house brews and guest taps. You can order food from "The Window ", which offers a nice selection of bar fare (think craft burgers, sandwiches, nachos, etc.). I can recommend the Ophelia's Wit - both straight up or mixed with a pure cane sugar grapefruit soda, to turn it to a radler. We tried a flight of the Going Once, Going Twice sour Berliner Weisse, which comes with one straight up and three with different house-made syrups... Delicious! Coming in on a Sunday afternoon will get you $5 off of a growler fill, as well! As mentioned, there is ample seating and they also have a shuffleboard table (extra points, there!), a Ms. Pack Man machine and small stage, so I assume there will be live entertainment, at times. We WILL be back!
