Three stories of antiques and random pieces. We enjoying the old building more than the antiques, but to be fair there is a lot of cool stuff in here... just not for us. There were old slot machines, old Ross Perot signs, Astrosniks, some common 80's baseball cards, old St. Louis memorabilia, and old Noah's Ark drink stirrers.
The sign on the wall said "oddities" too. Take that with a grain of salt because nothing really fit today's expectation of oddities. However, there was some stuff here you probably haven't seen elsewhere in town... so to be fair, keep that in mind.

   Read moreI love Hobbit's Hole Antiques! I was only in town for three days, but I made sure to go there twice! Lots of bargains, and a very friendly store manager. I found the prices to be very good across the board, and many items were excellent bargains. I bought some coins, several frames, some prints, old cabinet cards, etc., and I felt like I was getting a great deal on everything. I also tried the other antique stores in Saint Charles, but this one is the best, hands-down. Don't forget to look in all the nooks and crannies - so many goodies in that place.    Read moreI could spend hours in here. Hit and miss on prices, but if you'll ask the owner he is pretty willing to give you a good deal. I could have spent my whole paycheck in here. Found several vintage in good shape for good price, cast iron skillets (I did get one, I'm excited to season and gift it to a friend!), vintage Cardinals baseball paraphernalia, dolls, furniture, etc. Anything you could ever want. Again, the owner is very kind and knowledgeable. When I have more time to look, I am coming...
