KetoKey Factory — Restaurant in Saint Charles

My mother is currently on a keto diet and displeased that our local bakeries don't sell anything that's keto-friendly, so she was very surprised to see that there was an entire bakery that sold all keto products in St. Charles.

We stopped by on 11/21 during a shopping trip to the St. Louis metro area. We loved the Main St. shopping district as a whole and will visit the antique shops and all at a later date when we have more time.

As for the bakery, the customer service was great and the staff was very friendly. They had a good selection of product ready to purchase, along with a way to order more extensive products online on their webstore.

We purchased donuts, muffin, a cake slice, and a brookie treat and have enjoyed the food.

One complaint my mother has about keto-friendly food is the aftertaste of almond flour, which was COMPLETELY ABSENT from the almond flour-based foods we bought here. Great compliments...

Poor customer service!!! I ordered a cake on 1/19/23 for pick-up on 1/26/23. I was informed the cake would be ready after 12pm...ok great. I was unable to pick-up the cake before 5pm on 1/26/23 so I went to pick-up the cake on 1/27/23. I was told that my cake was SOLD to someone else...and the reason is because I did not pick it up on 1/26/23. I was then told that it was MY fault, because I should have called. While this could be understandable if I was 3 - 4 days late...however, I was never told that cakes had to be picked up the SAME DAY. Also, the cake was sold on the day I was scheduled to pick it up. This was for my wife's birthday and I would not have been upset if they did not place the blame on me. Needless to say, I won't be going back and I won't be recommending this place to anyone...

The cake was delicious! Customer service was terrible. I placed the order online because I was unable to get anyone to answer the phone. Picture 1 was what was advertised on the website. I requested pink icing in my order and for it to say Happy Birthday and my daughters name. She called me to take my payment and did not advise she would not be able to complete these items simply took my payment. I arrived on the day of her birthday to pick up the cake and received the cake and it literally didn’t look anything like what is advertised. Thankfully we were able to jazz it up with some candles and scraping off of the H.B. (Last picture) Do not place order here expecting what the photo shows and if you do, do not expect any customer service...
