My wife and I recently took her wedding ring set to Zander's to be soldered. Without getting into details (as this would take a long time to write) I will simply say that the experience began very negatively. I understand that we all make mistakes and that miscommunications can happen (If the Zander's team reads this review, I hope that you understand my concerns and work to provide better communication and set better expectations should those same questions be asked in the future). Had those "miscommunications" not occurred this would be a solid Five Star review as the Zander team did a good job addressing my concerns after the miscommunication was identified and we are very pleased with their work. My only additional advice would be to be straight forward when quoting your cost of repair even if a mistake (misquoted price) was initially made. The "between $X and $Y" price can promote a lack of trust, especially when we all know the end price is going to be "$Y". Just be upfront, say you misquoted the price, and that the repair will be "$Y"...if it does end up being less then the consumer feels great and your employee looks like a hero and not a cheesy sales person trying to squeeze a few extra bucks (just my humble opinion).
Bottom line...the rings look great and the Zander team did a good job taking care of a customer who felt "misinformed" and was a little upset about it (me). ...

I ended up needing some work done on my ring and took it to Shane Co.. While they were working on my ring they noticed that the stone had been filled and the filler in the crack had come out. Shane company allowed me to take this stone to another jeweler to have it confirmed. Because of Shane company’s integrity they replaced my Centerstone with a truly authentic diamond of what the supposed quality of mine had been. They also gave me a new setting. This was very good of Shane company because it had been confirmed that the diamond that I had turned into them was a filled diamond.
When I called Zanders to let them know what happened he told me “ what does it matter you got the diamond replaced”.
I’m not saying not to buy a diamond from Zander’s jewelry, but I am saying before you pay for it take it and have it thoroughly examined. Actually I was told that you often cannot even spot of Filled diamond. The problem comes if you need to have work done on your ring and heat is put to it. That’s when the filling melts out.
Be very cautious when buying from...
