Amazing class and fantastic teacher. My friends and I took the sterling silver stacking rings class and had the best time. The space is fantastic in how it's set up for classes and just the vibes overall. The teacher is fun and great at instructing the process. For the class you get to create from stock metal, seeing how to add texture, how to temper, size, etc. It's fascinating to see how the metal takes various textures and changes when heated and through all the parts of the process. The teacher is really knowledgeable and good at explaining why you need to do each step and what it does to the metal as you progress through. It was so satisfying making my own rings start to finish! To learn the whole process and to be in control of exactly how I wanted my piece was empowering.

The environment was intimate and calm as well as friendly and fun. Shanika walked us through every aspect of the process while forging her own ring so that we could visually see the instructions as she explained them. This was huge for someone like me whom learns visually rather than through verbal direction.
