Bee and Thistle + Provisions — Local services in Saint Joseph

5/5 stars for Bee and Thistle! We were visiting from out of town and arrived after the store closed, however the owner (Joel) let us in to shop around. He was so helpful and we felt like we had our own private shopping experience. Their selection of unique gifts is amazing: from jewelry, to handbags, to dog toys, children’s clothes and gifts, to kitchenware, and even a wine selection (and more)! There truly is something for everyone here. I had been looking for a dishwear set since buying my house and found the perfect handmade set here (along with the perfect glass pitcher set). I mention this because, since we were traveling, had to get these glass/breakable items shipped back home to us. Joel was so careful and thorough hand-wrapping and boxing each item to make sure everything made it to us without a scratch. He was so communicative and we could not have had a better experience. As an added bonus, he gave us a nice list of other things to check out in the KCMO area while visiting. The store, the experience - everything was a true delight.
