My bridal shower was May 22nd, on may 21st I ran to the jewelry store to have it cleaned, they told me it was cracked and wouldn’t make it through the weekend and it needed to be fixed ASAP! So sadly I left it walked out so sad how could I of cracked my ring?! (I purchased a Pandora ring so i HAD SOMETHING TO WEAR FOR MY BRIDAL SHOWER) They said give him a couple days and he’d have it fixed okay great! We call, the lady that works there said oh honey your ring is destroyed it’s “JUNK” ok so now I’m freaking out. She said it’s still not done I hope you had insurance ….. but I don’t think insurance will cover it (we haven’t had a year..) So June 2nd we called … the owner gets on the phone, I haven’t seen your ring? What’s it look like? What’s your ticket number? (the guy who took it didn’t give me one) she said I’ll call you back we are gunna look around for it… (they close at 5) I called back after not receiving a call.. finally I called back. she said I found it! It was under my desk under a bunch of papers. let me look at it I’ll call right back. She calls back and says oh there’s just one little crack, when is your wedding? I said August 7th… she said okay! Do you have bands for it? I said no I wanted custom made and have already spoke to your custom designer and he quoted me… 1200 MAX she said I’ll send it to him first thing in the morning in Chicago it’ll take 2 weeks for custom bands and to get it fixed I said GREAT! 2 weeks? She said yes ma’am 2 weeeks! He will fix it make custom bands and  Sauter them together. I said the lady that works for you told me my ring was junk? She said absolutely not! I don’t know how she said it was junk nobody has seen this ring… I said GREAT! Send it to make the custom bands and all that but I need it back in 2 weeks.. she said okay! It’ll be beautiful! We hung up. My fiancé called 2 weeks later to just check in, she wasn’t in so she was supposed to call tuesday … at the end of the day she still hadn’t called, so he calls and she had left for the day. The guy answers that took the ring originally from me and says maybe I can help? My fiancé said we want to know where the ring is it’s been over 2 weeks. He said “I have no idea where that ring is… “ I’ll have her call you when she gets in.. so yesterday morning my fiancé calls again. The guy answered and said we texted the guy in Chicago and he never answered the owner will be in shortly and I’ll have her call you. She calls finally… and said hi! I have no idea where the ring is.. I was there Saturday and didn’t ask about it!! He’s on vacation now, so when he returns we will get on looking for it. So finally July 15th she calls, YOUR RING IS HERE! I go up there, she said well it’s beautiful! But bad news it’s still cracked and it’s not sautered together the jeweler I sent it to didn’t wanna touch it but …. And I ran out crying.. at this point I’m stressed.. to the max. my wedding is AUG 7th! She said give me until Tuesday. It will be done. Tuesday (today) finally I call at 4:30 the lady that answered said she’s not in she had to step out but I seen that ring today I believe it’s done. I’ll call you back. She calls back says it is finished! We go to pick it up after texting with Kristen she states it’s 1450.. but I took off 300 for sautering and fixing the ring? But it’s still 1450? So we went from 1200 max to 1450. I will never EVER EVER return EVER. The run around. The lies. The upcharge. I’ve since spoke to another store, who says I was overcharged as well. Very VERY...

I've had great experiences shopping here. The staff are very knowledgeable, and more than helpful when it comes to sharing said knowledge. They've always been warm and welcoming, without crossing the line into being overbearing. The selection is varied, and would suit many aesthetics.

Perhaps what strikes me most is this: I am a working stiff. I.e. my bank account isn't exactly bursting at the walls. As such, when I've browsed here I've not been looking at high dollar pieces. A couple hundred bucks, or less, in most cases. Despite this, the folks here have treated me exceptionally kindly. They've taken time to answer questions thoroughly, make recommendations, and share opinions. I didn't feel I was being ignored, rushed around, or looked down on for being a light spender. Nor do I feel as though I've been scrutinized as though I may be some unsavory ne'er-do-well. I can't say the same of other jewelers I've encountered in the past.

Kristen's has become my go-to jewelry store. To make matters all the better, my wife has adored every piece I've purchased from their establishment. I would certainly, and highly, recommend them to anyone in the market for the manner of goods...
