absolutely will NEVER be going back to Uptown Cheapskate HORRIBLE customer service. I had the absolute worst experience there and that place is a waste of time. I did not deserve what I went through at all!

I had my son with me so I had his wagon and I put all my stuff in the wagon along with him. I went in told them I wanted to sell and they said “have you sold before” I said no. They said “fill this out.” I filled the paper out and then she said “put the basket here” with an attitude and shook her head like I was supposed to know what to do. And I stood there, she said “you can go look around?!” And I was like “oh okay” I had no idea because of course I have never done it before. I walked around the store. My son hadn’t napped and I wasn’t expecting it to take long. He started to act out. Crying, throwing himself, tryin to crawl on the floor, trying to climb out the wagon, etc etc. I’m trying everything I can to calm him and keep him occupied. After maybe 10 min I was there the girl walked away from my stuff. I assumed she needed to do something else so I just kept looking around. Time keeps going by and she’s still not by my stuff, I’m standing in the isle still trying to distract my son. At this point I’m getting overwhelmed and tired and he needs a nap. The girls are standing there kinda peaking off and on over the stuff on the counter and eating snacks. I’m still standing there and he’s just being too much at this point. And so I go up there and ask “do you know when my stuff will be done” and she said “it’s been done for a while” and I said “well you could’ve said something” and she rolled her eyes and went over to my stuff and said “$9 cash or $11 in store” and I wasn’t even thinking fr I was overwhelmed and ready to go and I said the cash.. she grabbed the cash and slammed it on the counter and walked away. Didn’t say anything to me. Didn’t tell me why she didn’t take my other stuff, just didn’t say anything. I grabbed my basket and walked out. I was there for over an HOUR. Mind you I had a basket FULL of BRAND NEW name brand clothes and shoes never worn that are maybe 4 months old max. She took 3 things. Everything was just terrible. I was soo pissed and over whelmed. They looked at me like I was dumb when my baby was crying. Was rude from the jump. Just everything. Absolutely TERRIBLE. I called when I left and asked to speak to a manger and they said “uhh she’s on maternity leave” and they could take my name and number and I said “no I’ll just keep calling back, because I know you guys are gonna push my name and number to the side. I wanna complain about the HORRIBLE experience I just went through”...

Good luck selling clothes here. I have stopped by this store 5 times at varying times of the week and times of day and every time it says they are no longer buying clothes. Apparently they have a daily budget, which must be only around $200-$300 because they always go over the budget within an hour after they open. If you are going to post your buying hours online, then please make sure it is accurate. I've never been turned away at Plato's Closet or Buffalo Exchange because they can't afford to buy clothes. I'm giving a 3 star instead of 5 because they do have really cute clothing for decent prices but don't bother trying to sell them your used clothes. They are too picky on what they take in. Tried to sell them some clothes and they said it has too much wear and tear when it only had a couple of strings loose from the clothing, and I'm sure you buy way more stuff from preppy women but judge those who...
