My Mom is absolutely delighted to live at Knollwood Place apartments. My dad, z"l, passed away nearly 15 years ago. Mom had been living in the house they built, alone, for all that time. Reticent for some time about moving, Mom has been beyond pleased about living at Knollwood. Maintaining her independence, she now lives in a very comfortable (and SAFE) apartment. She participates in the activities she chooses. Regularly reflects upon in retrospect how lonely she was in the "old house". Mom was immediately warmly welcomed by other residents and the terrific staff. She has made many new friends and become reacquainted with others from nearly decades ago. She loves opting in to the suppers with her friends at Knollwood----she enjoys these fun social times and loves the food! Similarly, she has a great time with many activities and outing opportunities as well as the peace and quiet her spacious, clean and comfortable apartment provides. We are happy (and relieved:). I was looking for an apartment for my friend Scott and received a flyer about Knollwood Place in the mail which caught my eye. I was interested as Scott was Jewish and the community at Knollwood seemed to be a place where he would feel most comfortable. We found the initial greetings from Susie Held to be very inviting and accommodating as I had to reschedule twice. Scott was pleased with the friendly reception of those we encountered during the tour and the apartments we looked at were definitely inviting. Although Scott was unfortunately struggling with illness the entire time of his stay all of the staff and residents were consistently friendly and outgoing. Scott passed away before he could take advantage of all the activities offered but each activity that was offered included subject matter in a variety of interests including movies, exercise, lectures, and presentations. Transportation to outside activities was often provided. The staff cared a great deal for the comfort and safety of its residents. I am grateful and sorry to not be visiting...

Moved my mother into Knollwood place over a year ago. The experience was seamless. Staff is very attentive. My mother had been living in her home alone the past few years. She has blossomed at Knollwood. She no longer spends her days alone but is enjoying the many activities Knollwood Place has to offer.
