I love Nordstrom Rack, i love any store that takes stuff from other stores (usually higher end, tho ofc doesnt have to be) and gives it another chance to be sold cuz nowadays its truly so disgusting how much usable things such as clothing, household stuff, furniture and cookware, basically anything, is wasted by being thrown away cuz it didn't sell... very sad and bad for the environment anf inhabitants (people and animals) I really loathe any type of waste but anyway, i love stores that give items another chance and Nordstrom rack is a great place for those itemss and the brands they carry are higher end! Which is awesome for a discount and awesome for those who would not have been able to spend on these items if they were full price or buy as much if they were, especially w the holiday season!? It makes it slightly easier to buy more people nicer stuff !! Also side note: if you ever find yourself w extra belongings that you don't need anymore ? ALWAYSS try n donate, donate to any close by thrift store you can!!! And if you don't have the means to get to a thrift store/donation center another really good method is just neatly place all the stuff you would like to get rid of and place on a busy corner near your place and majority if not all your previous belongings will likely be gone by the end of the day, especially cute vintage furniture ?!? Ive gotten some of my best side tables by pickin em up from the corner, tho always thoroughly check for any pests n clean it when you get home ofc too. Read more10/5/2020- This store has the WORST customer service (and I worked in retails before). They DID NOT inform the items that I purchased are final sales nor the information is stated on the receipt. They wanted you to buy things, paid the money, and when I needed to return items that I did not even used, the manager KARLEY TRACEY said that their staffs are not required to inform customers that, and nothing they could do about it. Even though the receipt stated that these are 45-day return policies. So it’s my fault that i did not call the corporate office to research about their return policies for a thousands types of merchandise before making the purchase ???
I feel discriminated against as the manager just walked away on me when I started to voice my opinion. They did not take you serious nor tried to do anything to help out with the situation. I paid a lot of money for things that I didn’t use. There was not even an option to try the items on so how could I know that it work? Their “hidden policy” is absolutely messed up plus the customer service is horrible. Please take your money somewhere else, Sephora, Ulta, Macy, even Target and Walmart have way better customer service. The manager walked away on me - I feel so insignificant and outraged as a customer. I was just in the store this evening and I was served by a lady called Carissa S. If I can be honest she was as nasty as hell. I am not sure what kind of day she is having but that is no need to take it out on a customer. I needed help finding an item online in a bigger size. I sis not have a lot of items just 4.
She repeatedly rolled her eyes at me and bit my head off and made me feel badly about being in the store, being served and asking for help. She is by far the worst customer service experience I have EVER had at a Nordstrom store.
Even the clerk and another customer who was being served who were next to her were looking at her a little disturbed by her behavior.
I will be following up on this, I ended up leaving most of the things I wanted because she was a complete put off on my shopping experience.
She should have done us all a favor and stayed home. Just because you are having a rotten day it does not give you the right to take it out on someone you don’t even know.
