Ramsey County Human Resources — Local services in Saint Paul

This place is a joke at best. I started to recieve SNAP benefits in December and I was never told my case workers name or phone number. I needed to get ahold of a group who actually answers the phone who has info the county does for assistance for my appartment in January and that's when they told me to contact my case worker. I asked for her information and they told me. I have called 3 times and never recieved a phone call back leaving my number name and case number. In Grisel's voicemail she says she'll call back in 3 buisness days. I have called in February March and now May. Now my food stamps haven't come in when the usually do on the 5th and it's the 8th now. I called customer service and they said i have to get ahold of my case worker because its not even pending. What is the point in a case worker if they don't do a thing for their clients? No other county has this issue just Ramsey county. If someone thinks they can get assistance from this county think again. You have to fight tooth and nail for the smallest thing. I've lost my appartment because I'm not in the perfect situation to get any assistance and it looks like food...

Oh my goodness I had the most amazing and helpful phone interaction with a phenomenal woman named mishalina (i called in to the easy info line) she went above and beyond what I asked and made such a difference in my life. Knowledge is liberation, especially when it is put in direct and simplified communication. Door dash added Aldi's and your able to order groceries paying with your EBT card. Amazon prime membership is half off when you add your EBT card, which they have fresh groceries and delivery and shipping is free with that membership. If you are disabled or not driving it really makes a difference to get good fresh food delivery and then if you don't have a credit card to pay with it was out of the picture for me so I just wrote it off until she so kindly explained to me that it was an added bonus with my benefits that I had no clue even existed. Very few people have had good experiences with the location. My mom applied for PCA service, the assessor came and helped and was friendly. That the only time she has good experience. Weeks later, they sent a letter said that she was denied for public assistance because she had failed to complete application process. She never received any form of call for that so we confused. The letter asked her to send complete application which we do not know what application so I called the number of the worker on the letter she received. Never returned our call since and always went directly to voicemail. Now we got to go one of the county human services and hoping we will have good experience because most of those places not getting...
