AWFUL!!!! my husband received a voucher from his employer MFA oil for some red wing boots this was their bonus AKA Christmas whatever We were in At. Peters for the holidays and decided to go there to the red wing store there in St Peters to cash in his voucher get the boots,we were in the store approximately 5 minutes and somebody I assumed it was Jeff the owner came up to me and he said "oh you have paperwork and I said yeah well you're going to have to wait okay so we went over and sat down on the bench and in the meantime four or five other people came in and they were all helped finally Jeff moseys over to the bench and says well let's get it done and I said okay if this is a problem we can leave and he said what can you come back after lunch and I said no I'm not going back after lunch and he said what these people here are here to get in on the 20% off sale that's till noon okay he said so sorry we can't help you and basically send us out the door so I would not advise using this location at all if you want to if you want or need a pair of red wing boots we went to two other locations one on st-charles Rock road that he was very helpful and then there was another one in South county at South county center and his name was Matt Rankin and he was super helpful we ended up being able to try on a pair of the boots that my husband was wanting they do have to order his size again do not go to the one in St Peters go anywhere else the guy is rude and and does not deserve...

Amazing reading these reviews. Clearly people are writing them when BUYING something from this joker. I bought boots from him religiously from both Florissant and St. Charles until my latest experience. You always buy something, but a store and it's owner's true colors show when you actually need them to give back after $1000's of dollars given to them.

I bought a pair of boots from this guy and the insoles to go with them. These lasted 6 months before the soles started separating and coming apart on a $190 pair of boots.

First, I go in and am told I have to talk to the owner and am forced to work around his 9 - 3 schedule, WHEN NORMAL PEOPLE ARE WORKING!! So I take my time off work to make it in and ask for help and this guy proceeds to belittle and blow me off because he's a "boot expert". He doesn't do ANYTHING with the boots besides sell them, doesn't make you an expert by definition buddy.

BEWARE. Everything is great if you're giving this clown your money. Don't expect him to be a stand up local business owner and stand by his product, you will leave disappointed and frustrated. There are many more reputable local owners who deserve your money and willing to help you when IT'S THE RIGHT...

Purchased a pair of Iron Rangers here. The store is clean and the service is very personal. As I do not have a guage on what service is like in other stores, I can not say it's the best experience I've ever had at a Red Wing shop, but it is be far the best experience I've had at a shoe store.

I would say that the only downside is limited color and size selection when choosing a boot. Due to this limited selection, I had to return to the shop after a pair in my size arrived. We then found that the boot was too big for me. This turned out to be a boon, because I then noticed in their catalog a color that I liked better than what we had originally ordered.

Although this turned out good for me in the end, if I had had my heart set on the color that I originally picked out, I would have had to have waited a total of two weeks in order to actually buy them.

Overall, the experience was good and I would return again. However I think that they need to work on having a slightly larger color and...
