Horrible experience, we show up the place wasn't very busy. Took forever to get seated. A girl came over and told us it was shift change and someone will be with us shortly. Took a little bit to get seated, took forever ever to get our drink orders l. First girl takes our drink orders. Drinks show up individually for five people. One we had to ask for repeatedly. 3 beers one water and a mix drink. Another girl finally comes over for our food order. We are still waiting for one of the drinks still. Get the drink finally and then the second girl comes back over with the new server to take our food order again. The new server didn't pay attention at all to our food order. We order another round of drinks because we clearly know this is going to take some time as they didn't even put the food order in the first time we gave it. We wait for a while and drinks randomly show up, separately and not knowing who had what drink each time and then ask a question on how the one drink was supposed to be made. A drink off their menu of all things. That gets explained and then she comes back two more times over the same drink asking questions about it. Food starts to show up, one plate at a time. They don't have a clue who ordered what. Clearly can see one person doesn't have there food and ask if we need anything else as they are still even missing our drinks. The last meal comes out, some random sauce is all over the side of the salad and on parts of the salad, serve just drops it off and leaves. Read moreI went to Hooters today because they're offering buy 10 get 10 free any style. I went to this location because the Maryland Heights location was crowded. The server Sky took my drink order. Later, she came back to take my order. I was ready to order before I arrived. She didn't know this. Once I told her that I was getting the BOGO wings, she said it's per person. What individual is going to ear 20 wings? I told her to cancel my drink and that I was going to leave. She brought me a bill and walked off. Changing me for a Sosa I didn't drink. I waited a long time trying to get her attention. Finally, I got it and asked for the manager. The advertisement did not say per person. I pointed it out to her. I showed her the email, including the fine print. This is a horrible practice. They are not honoring their advertisement. Not only did the server lose the more than 20% that I always leave but they lost the wings, fries, onion rings, and alcohol beverages that I was planning to order. I may never return to this location again. However, Hooters' loss was Kyoto gain. I got a great meal at Kyoto. I'm very disappointed in the service that I received at Hooters. The manager was rude, and we were lied to several times by the employee. We had to ask for hot food since the food we had ordered an hour and a half prior was now cold. The employee stared blankly at us as if to say what do you want me to do?? For the money we chose to spend at your establishment, I believe we deserve a hot meal. We watched plate after plate go by when they could have just given us fries to leave. Spoiler alert: Our food was still cold, but since 2.5 hours was already wasted, we went and heated it up in the oven. Pretty pathetic. There were tables full of people waiting to pick up food. If you can't handle it, turn off the to go orders. I know it can be done. I've seen it first hand. Short staffed, then the manager should have been helping cook. We never expect instant food but over 2 hours?? And we were not the only ones. I know the dozen plus drivers that filled tables waiting on food were pretty pissed too. Unorganized mess.
