Love the store for what it is. Staff is usually pretty nice and very helpful. Went in yesterday one younger woman was there, it seemed like she was supposed to be training a younger gentlemen who was just standing at the register while she was helping a group of guys fix an Xbox. Every customer that came to the counter, the trainee had to get the other employee to help him. I get being new to a job and needing help, but every time he had to get her for help, she would huff and puff, and make it obvious she was extremely annoyed. Instead of showing him how to take care of each customer and transaction, she would completely take over and do it herself, making it very clear to him or the customer she was aggravated, it was just rude and you felt bad for the kid. I get we all have bad days, I know work can be frustrating, I know it. But how's that poor kid supposed to help you out if you're not walking him through how to do it and don't take it out on the customers, its not our fault. We are just here to buy games.. I know we all have bad days girl, but just take a deep breathe...
Read moreI think there would be more sales if they'd let people look around for a minute before yelling "Can I help you find something?" Seriously, two seconds in the door and I'm being accosted. I knew what I wanted and didn't have a chance to get to the wall. Didn't have a moment to look at anything, but I was instantly annoyed upon entering. It's not a race, guys. Considering how most people buy online these days... You'd think not pissing off customers would be somewhere on the to-do list of daily operations.
Impulse buys should be the main focus, since Microsoft/Steam download libraries are killing the trade-in market. Don't think that us customers haven't noticed that the merch outweighs the games these days.
Give b*tches a chance to see all your sparkly stuff before getting straight to the point. Y'all need a revamp in sales foreplay, it's sooooo off-putting. I know your 'bros' think we're lost when we come in, but it's not a requirement to tell us, is...
Read moreGood selection but had one of the strangest experiences in a gamestop to date. Went in to buy a new copy of The Bioshock Collection for switch and when I went to check out the "new" copy was the display case on the shelf which they already opened and had to put the game card back inside if I wanted to buy it... I quickly told them I no longer wanted the game because If I'm buying a new game i expect it to be sealed and not opened for display purposes. I dont know how they advertise and price the game as new when they themself open it and store it behind the counter. Very disappointing and from now on will purchase my new games from...
