This was honestly a great stay. It smelled nice the room was clean and looked wonderful. The neighborhood around was a-lot nice and there was things near by which made everything very close. When you walk in it has this nice air conditioning smell that would make me happy. I dont know how a hotel does that but its great. There was alot some coloring tools and paper (at certain times) which im guessing are for children so if you have kids you can have them draw and color. There are also free peppermints at the front desk (which i took alot) and its a nice complementary thing! You can also by food near the front desk right in the hotel which makes it easy if you want a quick snack or drink (also medicine and microwavable food). Now there were like three kinda down sides and one depends on who u get placed around. 1. There are barking dogs. And they bark loud. I had my dog with us and he would bark back or just bark randomly, i do apologize to the people around us i tried my hardest to keep him quiet. So yeah its pet friendly but dogs do bark! 2. The pool had hair... alot of hair.. i dont know how, i mean like i kinda cared but also didnt, me and my sister made jokes about it. They do provide like toys to play with? I mean not the cleanest pool? Do wish they cleaned it more! Theres a little porch that can be accessed from the pool area and its nice. 3. This one im personally upset about but they made my sofa bed back into a sofa which was so annoying because it was like 11pm and i was tired and i had to put it back (only if u get placed on the 3rd floor). Breakfast is nice and is from 6:30-9:30 if i remember correctly? But yeah we stayed there for about a week and it was...
Read moreMy parents and I traveled together to see a friend graduate from Army Basic Training. Unfortunately, when I turned my sheets down, I noticed they had been previously slept in. There were about a dozen short, black hairs covering the sheets. When I went to report this problem to the Front Desk Agent, she told me that she is the only one working at the hotel. The hotel was booked solid, so she couldn't put us in a different room and she didn't know how to change the sheets. I waited while she made a phone call to the Housekeeper who then walked her through where the sheets were located and how to put fresh sheets on the bed.
The Front Desk Agent came up to the room with fresh sheets and attempted to make the bed. My mom and I helped her make the bed. When my dad said that the pillows are also probably dirty and we would need fresh pillow cases, the Front Desk Agent smelled the pillows and said they smelled fine. I said not to worry about it because I brought my own pillow.
I brought this to the attention of the Manager in the morning and he was very apologetic and said they would take care of the problem by partially compensating me for the room. Because the room was paid with my Rewards Points, I am still waiting for the compensation of points and hoping that it won't be forgotten.
The next night we stayed at Econo Lodge which I was worried about with it having worse reviews than Comfort Inn, but our room there was very clean. I suggest that Comfort Inn hire more staff so one young lady isn't left to cover more than she can handle and also to train the Housekeepers to change sheets after...
Read moreWas so happy with this short weekend getaway that we actually added an extra night. Locations was great with plenty of dining options nearby. Walmart and other shopping right down the road as well. The counter personnel were so friendly and very customer service oriented. The housekeepers were very kind as well and in fact probably got some nice shampoo, conditioner and body wash we accidentally left behind. It was good product, so I hope they kept it and didn't throw it away. We had just bought it too. Got halfway home and realized we left it. Lol. Beds were comfortable, including the sofa bed. (Of course those are never perfect, but the one we had in our room was taken care of and my 15 year said the mattress was comfortable.). Pillows were comfy too. The breakfast each day was very good, with plenty of food to make sure we started our day feeling full and refreshed. Eggs and bacon, eggs and ham, eggs and sausage were the hot options on the 3 days we ate, also had waffles, which were very good. Fruit, yogurt, toast, microwavable breakfast sandwiches, cold cereal, bagels, and hard boiled eggs were also options. Juice and coffee available as well. Coffee/tea bar was available 24/7. They had board games we were able to use for a family game night (we played in the breakfast dining area) The pool was clean and set at a good temperature (would have preferred maybe a bit warmer). It is a salt water pool, so the room isn't filled with that beachy smell that burns your eyes. All n all this hotel was managed well and kept up to great standards. Will definitely mark this as a favorite location and...
