It has been 2+ years since I visited this Ruby Tuesday location as the service, food and atmosphere was awful. After hearing this location was under new management, I returned to see if improvements had been made so we could enjoy Ruby Tuesday again. It has not improved. The restaurant was half empty and my party of two had to wait an unreasonable amount of time (alongside three door dashers and another couple) while watching the host leave and make “to go” salad orders in front of us.
After being seated at the second table we were taken to (we declined the first table as it was not wiped down), we were immediately informed it would be a 30+ minute wait for food. (I should have, at that point, went with my gut instinct to leave and eat at Cracker Barrel across the street). But we decided to stay and wait, ordering an appetizer for my daughter to help with this anticipated wait.
Dining experience: After waiting for standard items to be refilled, the ‘garden bar’ was awful. I had to pick out lettuce and greens piece by piece to avoid the brown ones. From the items I could forage for a salad, I had to pick out the pieces of other vegetables/meat that were mixed in. The dressings had drips of other dressings in them. When we went to the restroom, it was hard not to notice numerous tables with full meals still left on tables, abandoned. The restroom had not been seen and/or attended to. (I will save the gross details but missing toilet paper, unclean bowls, and trash on the floor). When we were finally served our meals, it was clear, we should have chosen a different restaurant. My daughter’s marinara pasta was a bunch of noodles and (maybe 1/4 c.) Red sauce splashed in the middle. I splurged for a T-bone dinner and had immediate buyer’s remorse. The steak was ordered mid-well and came mid-rare. They threw it back onto the grill and returned with a medium steak (not what I ordered but I kept it). The steak was chewy, unseasoned (couldn’t even detect salt or pepper), just an oily slab of meat they threw onto the grill and served to me. There was no tenderloin on the T-bone, but honestly, I didn’t much notice after the first bite anyway. Oh, the appetizer we ordered? That came after our meals, as I was told it had not been inputted by our waitress (name withheld). But, I accepted and paid for the mozzarella sticks since my daughter was still hungry after eating her meal. We noticed the cheese had not been fully cooked, so we took them home to be microwaved.
All of this, and maybe the worst part? My very well behaved, calm and quiet daughter whispering to me she thinks the waitress “doesn’t like her” because of how rude she told my daughter to remove her lid and straw and keep it after we asked her (the waitress) for a refill and that she hadn’t been offered a valentines toy by our waitress but rather by a passerby waitress that was bussing tables near us. I explained to my daughter that it likely had nothing to do with her but that I had just noticed her one other table (a father and two sons) visibly unhappy after trying their food, went to speak with a manager and had left without paying or tipping, and although it doesn’t excuse her unfriendliness, we all have bad days. This was later confirmed, as the waitress (after handing me the payment machine to confirm amount and tip) mentions, “sorry, it’s been a day.” Yes, we...
Read moreMy husband and I thought we'd give this place a try because we've never been. After looking online, the menu gave me 'Applebees' vibes, so why not? Let me first explain that the only reason I gave 2 stars on service is because the waitress at least showed up. There were only 4 tables (ours included) that had diners (I now know why). No, she was not the only one working the tables. She had 1 other. The salad bar looked like it had just been sitting there all day, some of the food was off in color. I skipped that experience, my husband on the other hand braved it out--and regretted later. I'm pretty sure it was that that had have him the bubble guts and upset stomach. He had to send his steak back because apparently medium rare means 'turn my steak into shoe leather'. My meal was okay. I got the hickory bourbon chicken. That was actually really good. However, the instant mashed potatoes tasted worse than the ones you get in a school cafeteria and my steamed broccoli--hard as a rock. I'm pretty sure they grabbed a handful from the salad bar and microwaved them-brown florets and all. My kid's cheese quesadilla reminded me of the ones you'd quickly make as a quick snack, you know the ones--tortilla shell and American sliced cheese. Pretty good for a quick snack at home but to pay for it at a restaurant -not acceptable! It was also microwaved (I'm almost certain) too long because it was hard and dried out. I don't know why I even see cars in the parking lot at any time. I am almost afraid to find out what the kitchen looks like....scary thought. But anyway, long story/review short, we ended up spending $70 on THE MOST mediocre school cafeteria food I have ever had in my life🤮 I will never come back and if I anyone tells me they are planning on going there for a meal, I'll steer them in...

July 17, 2025. This was our worst Ruby Tuesday experience ever. We stopped on Thursday evening after a 6-hour drive. We noticed right away with every step that the tile floor was disgustingly sticky. There were very few customers and plenty of servers in the restaurant, yet we waited about 5 minutes for a server to take our order. We ordered two salad bars, unsweetened Iced teas, and waters, and requested lemons for the teas and waters. We proceeded to the salad bar. Some of the iceberg lettuce was obviously bad. Other items looked like they had been sitting out a long time. There were no hard-cooked eggs or cottage cheese - 2 RT salad bar staples that we expected to see. We chose carefully to avoid the bad looking items and returned to our table. At the table were the 2 iced teas, one with the tiniest piece of lemon, but no waters, straws, lemon slices, napkins, or silverware. And no server to be found. I got up and found the silverware and brought 4 sets back to the table so we would have 2 extra napkins. After we had been eating our salads and the stale crackers, our server finally returned to ask how we were doing. We mentioned the waters and lemon slices and she returned with the waters. Later before we had finished eating, our server returned to the table with a small cup of rotten lemon pieces and to collect our payment. We told her to return after we had finished. Once finished our server was nowhere to be seen. She returned after I stood up to go find her. We...
