If you have a dog that is timid, has separation anxiety, or is even aggressive, any behavior issues at all....if you need them to get worn out before you leave and have the softest coat ever after a swim, you really should try this group. Our dog had terrible separation anxiety and was very destructive. Taking her to Bailey's worked her over so well she couldn't wait to have me take her home and leave her alone with her kongs and puzzles so she could eat and have a nice nap. (sometimes it was hard to get an appt because of their hours. Keep trying, leaving a voice mail worked best for me with what days and times would work-otherwise it's hard to get in there.) We did her swim weekly and were able to increase her time and she can now be left the whole day. She also worked through her anxiety around other dogs because there are dogs all around. Knowing a swim was coming, she didn't pay the other dogs any attention. At first she seemed terrified and I wondered if I should subject her to it, but she was so conked out the first time I thought I would try it again. By the 3rd swim she was really enjoying her skills and building confidence. It took a few weeks, but Bailey's journey helped us alot, accelerating her progress and we needed that. There were alot of dogs that needed swim for age related problems. Dog exercise in a pool beats any outdoor dog park imo where there can be problems. If your dog has issues, consult a trainer and also take...
Read moreWe are incredibly grateful to have found Bailey’s Journey, Canine Swim Therapy for our dog’s post-surgery rehabilitation. Our 7-year-old black lab underwent double TPLO surgery, and the road to recovery seemed daunting at first. However, with the exceptional care and therapy provided here, our dog experienced a remarkable recovery.

Read moreThere's no front office or reception so since it was my first time I was a little confused about where to go. But someone finally came and showed me. Forewarning: the place is wet. You're gonna get wet. I filled out some paperwork then took our pup up to the wooden platform. We watched other dogs swim for a bit then one of the therapists came and fitted Asher for a life jacket. The process is about three 15 minute sessions with a little break in between. I thought I would just be dropping him off. I'm sure there's a way you can do that but I stayed so I would get him out of the pool during breaks. The therapists were nice and friendly and we chatted. I just wish the process was explained beforehand. But going forward it will be a...
