Harbor Freight — Local services in Salem

I was disappointed to find out that they are not doing the Free or 20% off coupons now. I was there to pick up a tarp to cover a 12X12 dog kennel. Without the 20% off coupon I can get it just as cheap at Walmart. They are trying to compete with name brand companies like Dewalt now too. Saying most of the time that their products out performs the brand name tools. I think they are making a big mistake and should stick to what they are good at. I do believe that most of their tools are a very good value and perform well. They better go back to their coupons if they want...

This store is top-notch. Very well-organized and laid out with a good selection of product. Also they stand behind their warranties; absolutely trouble-free. The best part is the employees: they are all very friendly, helpful, and respectful. They greet you every time you enter. They have enough employees that they are out walking through the isles looking to help you find items you can't locate. I wish all businesses made customer service as important a point...

This is the new harbor freight in the area and I must say it's great. I can not give details on the night time lighting of the parking lot but I can tell you that during the day it's kept clean. The store is clean the staff are friendly and willing to help you. The prices are reasonable and inside is lit very well so you can see. I love shopping at this one compared to the one on Melrose in Roanoke. If you are able I would certainly take the time to come here...
