What's crazy about this one is that most of the things there are really nice, but the problem is you don't NEED most of it either. However, there was this one time I went in there and hand to God, they had about 75 unopened copies of Simpsons Hit & Run for PS2. I'm going to repeat that, THEY HAD 75 UNOPENED COPIES OF THE SIMPSONS' VIDEO GAME HIT & RUN FOR SONY'S PLAYSTATION 2! AND WHY? Was there some time capsule somewhere from an avid lover of this game who stored it away for future generations just in case the whole world went up? Because if that was the case there should have been 75 unopened PS2s there also. Spoiler, there weren't. Maybe some hyper conservative Christian faction that felt, unlike the TV show, the game was too secular and therefore they went about buying up all the copies that existed in the valley. This seemed like a good plan until years later when people figured out that their God Fearing Church, like most God Fearing Churches, was stupid so they had to offload all their contraband. It was probably at that point they had some sort of belated epiphany and realized that by buying the game to keep them from people, they were in fact just giving them full price for the game. In order to hide their shame and try to sort of make right with God they donated all of them to Goodwill to help people who actually need and then they all hopefully committed some sort of ritual suicide or started doing actual good with their lives. This Goodwill also usually has a pretty...
Read moreI like this goodwill, and I plan on returning this week to shop. My only thing that's kept me away, for so long is that they closed the dressing rooms during COVID, but COVID was near over, barely any body was talking bout it, I heard of local people getting sick but nobody anyone knew dying. COVID was basically over. Even the mall had opened up their dressing rooms again, but goodwill still had massive furniture in front of their dressing rooms. I almost offered to move them, because I assumed they were there still there due to laziness of staff who felt it wasn't their responsibility to move it. And now I see the site still says masks are required? I'm vaccinated and I didn't wear a mask last time I was there, and I won't wear a mask now. I hope the dressing rooms will be open...
Read moreWe travel all over the country doing what we love to do, or maybe I love it and my hubby puts up with it đbut either way, I love to stop at antique shops and malls. However, the Goodwill has become one of my favorite stops where Iâve found lots of treasures! This store is clean, has lots of clothing and a few unexpected gems! If only I could buy them all! I love mid century dishes, French anything, and beautiful crystal! They had a few real nice crystal pieces (bowls and stemware) which I passed on but I did find some real nice french cookware!! Either way, shopping GW helps the community. If you find something you really like but feel the price is a bit too high, talk with a manager, you may be...
