Waffle House — Restaurant in Salem

TRIED TO DINE IN

Empty house at 8pm. 1 couple inside that's it. Was informed with no reason that they wasn't seating customers until 9p.m by the waitress. Not to mention her partner was there as well. Asked for number to call and speak with Corporate. She called for him and when told I wanted the number, he rolled his eyes and walked away. Stepped outside and seen policy and number to call.

Went to vehicle to call. Discovered had to make complaint online. Started doing so and then waitress came outside and started talking to gentleman( tall, dark hair, heavier set) in the santa fe vehicle. Gentleman left. Took pictures to upload to make complaint. Complaint got erased do to my error. So started to retype and had to retake picture. As doing so pulled vehicle towards exit and then (NON EMPLOYEE) Waitress partner returned to business and pulled into spot, backed up, pulled in behind me blowing the horn as to intimidate me. Hollered out window at me. Then recklessly backed up due to his tactics not working.

Then manager comes out and threatens me with cops, so I called myself. WHOLE STAFF SHOULD BE TERMINATED. NOT MY COMPANY THOUGH.

See what happens, video(if system works) proves my honesty.. see if the company does correct thing.

P.S. Another Elder woman and mother was denied service...

My family ate in,and ordered mine to go,My grandson read my order from the picture of the menu ,and they once again screwed up,I ordered a Chicken Sandwich Deluxe with hash browns,, grilled chicken with lettuce, tomato, Grilled Onions on a Grilled Bun !! What I got was a grilled chicken with cheese , tomato, lettuce BACON,on a Bun and Burnt Hash browns,,my BP didn't appreciate the bacon ,And I wanted the grilled onions !! Cheese and Bacon Was Not on the menu with this sandwich !! Either the people there can't comprehend English or they don't know the menu ,they add extra to charge extra, I guess the only way to get what you order,is to eat there and if I was able to eat in it wouldn't be the Waffle House June 7-2024. Well I ordered a Waffle tonight, figure they wouldn't mess it up should've known better,they but the butter pack in with the waffle,and it was liquid ,the waffle was soggy,and the syrup was busted in the bag,,that's it I'll order something thu grub hub or door dash before I ever have my family bring me something from the Waffle...

Yesterday was the second time my family went there to eat. The first time, we didn’t leave happy- but the only thing that I really remember is how little chocolate chips they put on my waffle compared to the other waffle houses. Yesterday, the waitress, Mercedes, got our order wrong and when I told her both orders were supposed to have over easy eggs, she got frustrated and put them down on the table and looked at the ticket to see what she had written down. Just forget it. If you’re not willing to make it right, we won’t come back. And after she placed the rest of our order on the table, we never saw her again. We were trying to give this one another chance but it seems we’ll have to drive across town to the Williamson Road location to enjoy eating at...
