I scheduled an appointment for a luminary fill with Kenzie four weeks in advance. When I arrived for my appointment, there was no one to check me in at the reception desk. Five minutes after my appointment time, I texted Kenzie to confirm my appointment. She replied she was in an employee meeting that was running late, and she would be right with me. Five minutes later (10 minutes after my appointment time), a young lady walked into the salon and greeted me, asking if I had been helped. I replied I was there for an appointment with Kenzie. The receptionist replied she would tell Kenzie I was there, went to the back of the salon, and returned and said Kenzie would be right with me. I waited an additional 10 minutes (20 minutes past my appointment time), listening to Kenzie and the other employees laughing together behind a closed door at the back of the salon and got upset. I told the receptionist if Kenzie wanted to do my nails, she should reach out to me. When I went to the door, I changed my mind and told the receptionist, "Actually, I won't be coming back. I'm that upset!" Kenzie never reached out to apologize. I will never return to this salon. BTW, previously they increased their prices 20% without informing clients. Our daughter Bianca asked as a birthday present to do luminary on her nails and then we chose this place because she had already done it and liked. Unfortunately the person she did last time was not available so we booked with Lindsey Ivie. Our daughter arrived excited and happy but then the nightmare started. We had to wait 30 minutes to be attended. Finally our daughter was called. After finishing our daughter was very upset because her nails were only painted (very poorly painted by the way) and not what she wanted (luminary). My wife talked to Lindsey about doing the extension/luminary (which was what we were scheduled to do) but she told my wife that she didn't have time to do it! even though there was no other customer waiting (it would have been enough time if she did what we had requested and was not delayed 30 minutes).
