So ive tried this place 3 times. I wish there was more privacy, I wish they would at least massage your feet when you're getting a 40-60 min massage. One time they massaged my head which I loved but they didn't the other times. Ive been massaged by a man and 2 times by a woman. They were nice, however, while I was waiting for my turn, im watching the woman massage another woman on the chair. The woman was massaging her while she herself was on the phone on speaker. She literally massaged with one hand while holding the phone, then she even placed the phone thats on speaker, on this ladies upper back behind her neck!!! then in front of her where her arms sat. I could hear it all. My turn comes up. Before I lay down, I see shes still on the call and its sitting on the table next to my table. I told her I could totally wait until her call was done, not a problem. She said no she needs this call and made me lay down. I wanted her full attention to me, and I tried to explain that I have major lower back pain and torn rotator cuff on both arms but my right hurts worse, so I need her to be careful. Now, ive had her before, im aware she's rough, shes very strong and gets up in places with her elbows especially. I squint my eyes most of the time, its painful but good too. But then there were a few times I told her no stop I cant handle that or my arm/shoulders can't take that or bend behind my back, and she responds with "no you need it". I was clearly in pain, clearly said no no no and stop and she didnt listen. I am hurting so bad the next day, more than usual. I can hardly move my right shoulder even more. I think when I was trying to explain to her where not to touch or my pain areas, she was focused on her important phone call and rushed me to lay down. Now I heard what the conversation was about. It was important, it was about immigration status etc. and I fully support her and just let it happen because I get that it was important, I was willing to sacrifice my peace and quiet during a massage that I was paying for, so she could take care of that call. I think where my frustration came in the most is, because she did not listen when I told her to stop and she was hurting me. I did not have a good overall experience, yes I tipped her because I was trying to be nice. Im on short term disability right now and dont have much money right now, I wish I went somewhere else against my better judgement. Now im out the money and in a ton of pain today. I feel like they may not be licensed either? I only say that, and I could be wrong, but all of your weight into your elbow shoving it into my spine constantly, I feel like thats not something that should be done? it hurts a lot. Ive gone to other massage parlors and my experience was private, relaxing music, still got the deep tissue but it didnt hurt in this way. I also dont recall my spine being elbowed really hard. I hate leaving bad reviews, I tried this place 3 times thinking id get a better experience. I also hope things go well for this lady with the phone call issues, I really do. I just wont be returning. I feel like im legitimately...
Read moreAbout a few weeks before Christmas I bought a gift certificate for my son who is in desperate need for some help. When he arrived he was looked up and down .The woman at the front desk made a snide comment and shook her head. Yes my son is large and his very tall but he needed help , that is no reason to judge him for his weight or his height. She told me personally that she would be massaging him that was not the case. It was some young guy that was extremely rude to my son. My son Laid down on the table this person barely wanted to touch my son and barely put any kind of pressure on him my son repeatedly asked please put more pressure on him on his back on his sore spots . The gentleman refused he finally did within a few minutes he went back to barely massaging him. It was obvious he was not a licensed massage therapist he had no clue on what he was doing. Then he proceeded to karate chop my sons back over and over again and when my son asked him to stop he did not and then he lifted his arm with all of his weight and slammed his hand into my sons back. My son screamed in pain in .And then this so-called massage therapist said we’re done get out. And then to make things worse the woman behind the desk blocked my son from leaving and said where is the tip my son said what tip your person hurt me and even if I had the money I wouldn’t give it to you anyways I don’t think he was licensed. my Son was able to get out of the store, for a week after this appointment, he was in pain. but I’m telling you I will never ever give my money to the specialist again and I’m pretty sure the guy that supposedly massaged my sons back was...
Read moreTheir massages are good but they demand more in tips. Like I’m tipping you just accept it. You try to tip and they go oh this is what you have to tip. Um that’s not how it works. The customer decides how much to tip Like you’re already getting a tip. You’re lucky you’re getting a tip. I leave a tip cause it’s the polite thing to do for a service provided but it is not okay to demand more. I work in the tipping business and I get what I get. It varies by the day. If this continues I will not be coming back. And when I said it was too much pressure I was told to relax. Like this hurts you’re hurting me. And then you expect...
