Vanderbilt's — Local services in Salina

We've been to this store a few times since moving here. And we do spend a large amoumt of money here each time we shop at this store. And we've NEVER gotten a HELLO or a WELCOME TO VANDERBILTS...Which it doesnt feel to welcoming... Not only do we not get a HELLO, but we NEVER get a DO U NEED ANY ASSISTANCE...or a R U FINDING EVERYTHING OK......the employeez really need to step up their CUSTOMER SERVICE. Because it doesnt look like its a busy store, and watever customers Vanderbilts does get,,,,Vanderbilts needs to APPRECIATE n ACKNOWLEDGE their CUSTOMERS....remember, its ur CUSTOMERS tht maintain ur employees with a job. Teach some common sense treatment, n maybe Vanderbilts will have more business....u might think of hiring some Bilingual ppl,,,but tht actually do want to speak the language....ur store is a large n nice variety of products, clothes, shoes, boots and even scrubs.....so just SMILE n make me stay for a...

Great place to buy a great pair of boots! They stand behind them as well! I had a pair of boots that failed after about 3 months and they gave me a 100% refund store credit to replace them! I have bought at least half a dozen boots here over the years and have only had one poor experience.

I bought a pair of boots today that were tagged at $134.99 but the register came out at $144.99. The cashier was not friendly and made me retrieve the boots with the tag to prove my previous statement, after she rudly turned the box around gestering at the different price tag on the box. No apologies from her or any thing, but did honor the displayed price.

If it wasn't for the many years of great service and on that day, the person in the back was exceptional while helping me find the right boot, I would have left without buying the boot due to her behavior alone.

As this is hopefully just an new outlier, I would still recommend...

I traveled to this location on 7/16/19 and found a pair of boots that I liked. I found them cheaper online and asked if they'd price match. They said they'd have to ask the manager manager and they'd call and let me know. The following day I was informed that they would infact price match. I was then made aware of the buy 1 get 1 46% off sale that they were having on the weekend of 7/19/19. So, I waited until that day to go down and get the boots to take advantage of the deal.
