When you join their Credit Card Club, they give you 30% off quite frequently. If you shop wisely there and go to their bonus, sell racks a lot. Or if you go online, you will find some great quality buys here. The jewelry department is very nice here. Their jewelry is just as cheap as Walmart, and they have a better selection. The management at this location is top-notch. Also the sales associates here are really good. It's probably the best place to buy quality running shoes with the 30% off, and then you wait for a sale. Generally, they usually have a good quality top-notch running shoe like Adidas or Asics for under fifty bucks. Some of these shoes list at sporting good stores for a hundred bucks. The unfortunate thing is that you can't use the 30% off on the above premium brand shoes . You can even save more by buying Fila ,Pumas, Skechers, or Reebok. They are sometimes under thirty bucks and aren't bad quality shoes. Another thing is the Hager Man suits and lots of great quality golf attire like Munsingwear and workout gear from their brand called Trek. They also have their own store brands that are excellent quality. Unfortunately, they seem to have a hard time during the Christmas season, keeping up with demand on their stock. This is why I downgraded their stars from 5 to only 3. Unfortunately, they don't stock any big man sizes. They need to improve the big man section altogether. Also, with their own brand Trek workout gear, they need to have a better way of resupplying during Christmas. They have been out of Fitness clothing since the month before Christmas. Of course, they still have some of the high dollar brand like Nike and Adidas. Remember, you can't use 30% off due to exclusions. But their own store brand has been very limited this year. This should be something easy for them to stock. Also, they tend to not be able to keep their Croft & Barrow casual shirts in good supply. They also seem to have trouble keeping a good selection of shoe sizes both for men and women during the Christmas holidays. Even online, they are out of stock on many items that seem too simple to be out. For example, for women, the Sketcher no lace tennis shoes in sizes 7, 7 1/2 ,8 m.And for men they have very little sizes in 12 1/2 and size 13 d. They carry very little casual shirts in the size 2xb and 3xb,4xb. And for women in the stretch, jeans like jeggings do not carry many 16 size lines. I was very disappointed this year in their jewelry selection and their availability of stock. We are probably having difficulties fulfilling the stock of the store due to covid-19. They have a great location in Salisbury. The Wallace Commons area was an excellent location. I feel this area would be a good location for another big box store like Costco or even a nicer Salisbury Walmart. The current location of Walmart has not been good . I have even witnessed and told store clerks of major shoplifting going on here . I literally saw a white man that I have seen sell stuff frequently at the flea market tables outside, walk out with a buggy full of meat , and boxes of weed eaters. Needless to say, he did not go through the self-checkout . To my knowledge, he wasn't even apprehended. But you can find him every Saturday and Sunday selling stuff dirt cheap at the flea market. Then you have the parking lot that has all kinds of things going on. Which has had its share of thefts and car vandalisms . We definitely need a new Walmart in Salisbury. Wallace Commons would be a good area for that location. God be with you during this terrible time in American history. May you seek our Lord and Savior Jesus...
Read moreI placed an order online at 8a.m. to be picked up at the Salisbury store. At 9a.m. I received an email saying that only one of my 6 items was ready for pickup and the other items would be ready for pickup at the store between 7-13 December. So, I went to the Salisbury Kohl's to pick up the only item they had available. While I was walking towards the pickup area, I happened to notice all the other items that I had ordered from the store, were right there on the shelf!!! So, I put them in my shopping cart and went to customer service to ask why I have to wait over a week for those items to be shipped to the store and then I would have to come all the way back here to pick them up, when they are available right here in the store right now?!?! She told me to go ahead and purchase the items in my cart. Then when the items arrived in the store to not pick them up. Well, that's fine and dandy, but I used $35 in Kohl's cash for my online order...so how can I use that $35 in Kohl's cash to buy the items in my cart. She said I couldn't do that, but I could use that $35 Kohl's cash for a future purchase!!! I asked to speak to the manager. She told me the same thing. So I called the 800 number for Kohl's and explained the whole thing yet again. This time the guy said that if the items were not available at the store at the time I placed the order, them I would have to wait until the were delivered to the store to pick them up!!!!!! I was livid!!!!! I asked to speak to his supervisor and he said she was unavailable and that he didn't see any reason for me to speak to his supervisor. I wanted to scream. Not one of those Kohl's employees, and that included a store manager, could explain anything to me. The store manager actually said that the items had to be shipped to the store, because the weren't on the shelf at the time I placed the order and that the shelves were stocked after my order was fulfilled...which is a load of garbage. I told her that I placed the order this morning at 8a.m. and then received an email at 9a.m. saying my PARTIAL order was ready. She just shrugged her shoulders. I was so disappointed and dissatisfied with all of them. This makes me want to take my business to Belks. I've been a loyal Kohl's customer since the early 1990's. I've never experienced anything like this before. Kohl's is no longer going to be my store of choice. I would advise anyone who reads this to think twice about shopping at Kohl's...
Read morehorrible store. I would give the store zero stars if I could. I was in the store on Thanksgiving night and the lines were wrapped around the store. There were people laying in the isles while waiting in the line. I was told by another store employee if I went to the jewelry department and purchase something from there, I could check out there. Ok cool, my birthday is coming up soon so a watch would be a nice gift to myself. I went to jewelry department and found a nice watch for myself.well, the young lady there told me that I could not check out in the jewelry department because my watch was not from a certain section of the jewelry department. And that was "store policy." At this point, I can feel myself about to have a meltdown. Where I got my watch from was right beside the cash register.... I mean an arm's length away. Kohl's expect me to wait in an line that's wrapped around the store when I was told from another employee if I had a jewelry I could check out in the jewelry department. The moral of the story is... What ever happened to customer service. This is why retail stores are closing down. It has nothing to do with technology. People don't want to serve their customers anymore anf do what's convenient to them. They want to do what's easy for them. As a result, you have big online sites making big money. Back to my story, I walked away peacefully highly disappointed in Kohl's "store policy." My fiance was with me and she found an employee...that what...let her check out in jewelry department. Wow, what happened to the "store policy." There was an different Kohl's employee telling my fiance that I needed to claim down because it's not that serious. But remember I walked away peacefully. Okay lady, you wait in that long line and tell me how happy you will be. It's easy to talk when you are not in that situation. I am HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED in Kohl's and will NEVER be returning to Kohl's due to their "store policy" that I disagree with. Cyber Monday had gained a...
