I saw Seussical, Jr., an abbreviated version of Seussical the Musical based on Dr. Seuss books. It was the culmination of a children's 1-week "summer camp" and I was amazed at the quality of the performance.
I'm not sure, but I think it was elementary and middle school students in the cast. It was hard to believe they had only worked on the play for a week. The leads were phenomenal and I hope they continue in acting. Their acting abilities and singing voices were incredible. It was evident that the director knew how to get the best possible from his student actors.
