To anyone who may be searching to find a more holy and sincerely passionnant way to love and worship our Father, Lord and Holy Spirit. The local orthodox church is like stepping back in time 2000 years and even further when embracing the old testament teachings and many traditions .I have never felt so at peace during and after a service, along with following the daily scripture readings, saints, feasts ,fasts holidays ect. You can truly live a holy life in such a trying secular world as we live in. Read moreAttended a farewell service here for a dear friend's mother and absolutely dismayed by the priest (let's call him Father Longbeard) who insessantly "shushed" into a microphone all evening at the family and friends who came to visit with each other and celebrate a life that meant so much to everyone. At one point he rolled his eyes and acted like an impetulent toddler and stormed off. This behavior is shortsighted at best and cruel at worst. Read moreA slice of heaven on earth. the church is becoming a little crowded which can be hard especially for the elderly or people who need to sit in the limited seating, but what an incredible and wonderful problem to have people are finding Christ. Glory to God!! The priest is wonderful, so gentle and loving in his approach to everything. idk how he manages with such a large and growing parish and a family of his own.
