The Celebration of Life Donor Monument — Attraction in Salt Lake City

My husband was celebrated here with his name added to the donor wall in 2021, a year after he died in a car accident we were in. He was killed instantly so he could only donate bone, parts of his eyes, and some other tissue. The organization was very thoughtful in their approach to their request only hours after the accident at a very vulnerable time when donation of this kind was the furthest from my mind as the reality of it all hadn't really set in yet. I was so grateful that they did because he wanted to be a donor and time is very limited for viable recovery so it has to be done very quickly. They also can provide assistance with the grieving process if needed whether donation happens or not. If requested, they will also send a nice medallion that is able to withstand many years being placed embedded into the headstone or it can be kept as a keepsake. They do not request nor expect any money for the service they provide for grieving families but do rely on donations from the community that are very much appreciated. Someone mentioned in another review that they wished there was a way to look up the location of a name on the wall and they do on the website. Just find the area on the site where there is a button for name location and type the full name as it appears on the wall then the panel and line number is provided, however I haven't been able to find a panel number anywhere, I just counted the panels starting from one end, the furthest West panel being 1, I think, and was able I was able to find it...

Parking is a pain, but the monument itself was spectacular. Not a large park, from where we were entering, not very handicap accessible.
