UPDATE: It would not let me reply to the restaurant's response. We would appreciate the refund. The larger issue was not that he was unable to issue the refund in that moment - the tone and delivery of information was not great. We understand people can have a bad day and maybe that was the case. But we are not interested in returning at this time, as it was very uncomfortable and more aggressive than warranted. But we appreciate your response.
We came in today for a couple of Vietnamese iced coffees—we’ve been here many times before and never had bad service. An older man outside the restaurant asked if we could please order them some pho, since they didn’t have any money. It didn’t appear to be busy (only one other person waiting), so I ordered a bowl of pho on their kiosk.
While waiting, I asked the employee for a small cup of ice since my ice coffee barely had any. He didn’t say a word, rolled his eyes, slammed the ice machine door, and then slid/tossed the cup of ice across the counter, spilling it. I cleaned it up myself, giving him the benefit of the doubt, but his attitude was shockingly rude.
After waiting over 25 minutes with no progress on our order, we politely asked to cancel since the food hadn’t even been started. Instead of handling it professionally, he was extremely disrespectful to my husband and said he would cancel but not refund us. We left without food and completely stunned at how poorly we were treated. Not sure if he was having a bad day being the only employee present or if he just has zero regard for customers.
We’ve never experienced such unprofessional, rude service anywhere—especially when we were being respectful and patient. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back and will be disputing the charge...
Read moreI knew it was a bit of a risk stopping by a Banh Mi shop in Utah, so in that sense it was about what I expected. The “Banh Mi” here aren’t really Banh Mi in the traditional sense. I saw no options for pâté which is kinda a must have offering for a Banh Mi shop. Still, a sandwich doesn’t need to be “traditional” to be good. I got the veggie delight and I would say the only positive about it was that the bread was quite good! I’ll give them props on that. Very airy and flakey. Unfortunately the filling was atrocious. The tofu was decent but the mushroom was soaked in so much soy sauce you couldn’t taste anything else. It was like eating a salt sandwich. There was a small helping of daikon and carrot, but you wouldn’t know it over the overpowering taste of the soy sauce. There also didn’t appear to be any of the Banh Mi mayo that helps to provide some balance for the aggressive seasoning on a normal Banh Mi. There was a single sprig of cilantro on each sandwich half and not nearly enough cucumber. Banh Mi should taste fresh, this tasted processed. In addition, they accidentally cross contaminated my veggie sandwich with a quarter sized piece of meat. Perhaps the meat options are better, but if you’re looking for a good tasting Banh Mi, I’d go elsewhere (if you can find...

Was craving pho, and this was the first place that came up in the area! And super happy that it was because the pho was fantastic. Not too salty, not too fatty, just enough of each to give it a rich flavor. The aromatics were calming, and there was a generous amount of meat. Oh, and was recommended to try with the flat noodles, which added a fun new texture to a familiar dish. Comes with a drink as well!
I ordered the Steak Banh Mi to go, at the recommendation of the cook, and instead of waiting until later, I ate half of it on my motorcycle in the parking lot haha! Sooooo much flavor, tender meat, soft yet crispy bread. Also comes with chips and a drink! It’s a good day 😁
Will definitely be back here to enjoy more of the variety on the menu.
Thanks again for the great service, fun conversation, and overall...
