I would HAPPILY give this place 10 stars as I’ve been a loyal customer for 7 years. But something happened to me yesterday that made me SO upset.
So I usually go to the sugarhouse location, and I needed to get some new things for work so I came in yesterday evening and was walking around the store looking at things as I usually do and grabbing things, sometimes I’ll keep things in my hand and kind of decide whether I like them or not and if I don’t I put them back. And at one point Dayanara (I know that’s not how you spell it lol) but she asked me if I wanted to try on anything yet and I told her no thank because I was still looking and then she said okey and walked away and immediately this lady Chelsea walked right over to me and said I had to keep the items up front while I looked around. And I was confused because I’ve never had someone tell me that I have to do that, they just offer it and sometimes I do let them take it but I didn’t decide if I wanted the things, and the lady grabbed them out of my hands and said “we’ll this is a small family owned business and people steal so we don’t need that happening so we’ll keep your things upfront” and I was really offended because I’ve NEVER had someone rip clothes out of my hands and tell me I HAVE TO leave the clothes upfront. And I told her that this has never happened to me, and she told me “we just changed our policy’s so we can’t let anyone be holding the clothes while shopping” which sounded made up. And she was giving off such a passive aggressive attitude like I was stealing and treating me so weird. I felt so uncomfortable. It was an awful experience. I would NEVER steal. Then this lady who came in after me was walking around with items in her hand and Chelsea didn’t grab them from her or tell her the same thing. I’m covered in tattoos head to toe and look .. exotic. And the other lady who was shopping was a white older lady. So I’m not sure if it was a race or a discriminatory act but it felt like it.
Today, I ended up calling the west valley location to talk to someone about their policy’s and they told me that shouldn’t have happened. I talked to Denise and she was so sweet and let me vent to her about the situation and she validated my feelings. I don’t think I’ll be returning to the sugarhouse location anymore which really sucks because I live on the same block. I will still be loyal to Blue Boutique but just at different locations. Read moreBefore my experience at this Blue Boutique, I was feeling let down (literally) by previous bras. Fitters at other stores told me my size ranged anywhere from a 30D to a 36A. Nothing quite worked.
When I walked inside Blue Boutique, I was worried I'd have the same experience, but I was immediately greeted by two employees. I mentioned that I wasn't too sure of my bra size and Fran offered to fit me. She was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. At one point while checking the fit, she asked permission to touch and teach me how to put on a bra properly. I was so impressed that she asked first and knew exactly how to help me. Fran kept bringing bras until we found a few stunning keepers. I was pleasantly surprised with how many styles Fran found in my small size which is hard to find in run of the mill department stores. I walked out feeling so much better knowing that I not only had sexy new lingerie, but lingerie that fits and flatters.

Read moreI was here tonight with my husband to find some intimate items I was in need of. Blue Boutique is the only place we go for items like this, since we moved to Salt Lake 10 years ago. The staff is amazing, the selection is incredible, and the selection is so on point! It's just a great shop, with phenomenal employees. Tonight I had a pretty unique item I was shopping for, and Becca was the most kind, intelligent, and professional service agent I've ever had! To put it mildly, she was outstanding!!!! She helped me find exactly what I needed, wasn't embarrassed about my openness, and was so incredibly helpful. I would've never been able to find what I needed without her help. She absolutely deserves to be commended, and get a raise. She's one of the best employees I've ever had there (although all of them have always been great over the years). I just want to personally thank Becca for her help, patience, and kindness. We'll definitely be going back and using her in the future. Please don't leave Becca!!
