The guy in charge was in the living room trying to make a sale so I didn’t bother him to get a price of a knife that was marked $25 so the two people sitting down on the couch I hold up the knife and I say $25 really. They say oh no it’s $.25 OK fine I go to check out the lady starts adding everything. Then the guy from the living room thrusts a phone in front of her face saying that so-and-so is going to take the pillowcase. The lady goes well I’m gonna have to start all over again yeah I go yeah you were interrupted weren’t you. Anyhow she says she’ll throw in the knife and as I’m bagging everything she says oh no that knife is $25 and I’m like I asked she says who did you ask and the next thing I know I don’t have a knife anymore even though the transaction had concluded as I was bagging my things and had paid my money and received my change. That’s power not right.

Read moreI used to love this store but it has been downhill, customer service is severely lacking. Waited forever for my delivery. You pay a premium only to wait weeks and months. You will be lucky if you get a response to any text or message or call back. I try hard to support small businesses but this one is lacking. Used to have a wonderful atmosphere but it’s completely dead in there now. Not sure what’s going on or if it’s poor management- inquired about a price on items not Marked and never heard back so why even bother. Lots of red flags and feeling unappreciated so I won’t be back anymore. My friend feels the same so i am glad it isn’t just me experiencing the same feelings. Maybe if you buy small items you’ll be ok but buyer beware on bigger items And good luck trying to get any...

Before we moved to San Angelo in 2019 we checked out the local antique shops to see if we'd be making weekend trips elsewhere or if we would be able to find great stuff here. This is the shop that made us confident we'd be able to find great stuff here, and we just keep coming back. We just bought two desks and had them delivered - great experience, and looking forward to...
