Bella's XV (Bella's Quince) — Local services in San Antonio

Not a very welcoming place, and rude staff. They have a nice selection of dresses, it’s the only reason I’m giving this place 1 star. When we walked in, the vibe was not very welcoming, we made our walk halfway around the store before anyone even approached us or even said “we’ll be right with you”. We didn’t have an appointment, so we weren’t expecting to be waited on with top priority, but did expect to be treated like a possible customer who might be spending a good chunk of money in this store. Our bad experience came from 2 employees, the manager or owner, not sure who she was, and the lady who initially took the dress off the rack for our niece. We’d been to 3 other places that day, all allowed us to take pictures, it’s a big purchase, you would think they were okay with this since we might have to compare what we really like, none of the other businesses forbid pictures, they welcomed it. This business said we could not take pictures and the manager came over to us and loudly scolded us about how we could sue her if WE took pictures of OUR minor...what??? Here’s the thing...when we pointed out that the debutant 15 feet away, who SHE was helping, all of her family were openly taking pictures and even FaceTiming...she simply ignored the comment, and rudely kept talking over us. Very rude customer service, and guess what, we did find the same beautiful dress - somewhere else, with amazing...

This place was absolulty ridiculous.. First off "Gracie" refuses to give you any written prices or estimates or model numbers your interested in... Mainly I suspect because she wants to jack up the price as much as she can on a person to person basis.. I.E. if she thinks you got money she'll hit you with the largest price possible.. Also for whatever reason she refuses to be tagged in anything if you do decide to take any pictures and is scared for you to even mention any price she has given you.. Again I'm sure because she doesn't want anyone coming in expecting the same price the have seen posted anywhere.. Quinceras and bridal dresses by Ingram mall on the other hand had the same dresses priced at least a couple hundred dollars less.. And had no problem giving written estimates or dress models your interested in.. Great customer service and products.. Sorry but the really came off as shady when they refuse to give you a written estimate so you the customer can compare pricing.. When I mentioned I was going to shop around she got an attitude and stated you won't find better customer service or prices anywhere you .. Come back when your serious well Gracie I was e Dead serious.. Had all the money in my pocket and purchased an awesome dress that day SOMEWHERE ELSE and SAVED A TON OF MONEY..they had equal or better...

BEYOND grateful for today! Every person made sure that our daughter's needs were met. They tended to her like the princess she is! They were all so very kind and knowledgeable of all their dresses and preparations and all the little details in-between! When i called to make an appointment, i told her my husband may be out of town and may not attend and she said that this moment is a special moment for everyone, even dad! We were able to schedule and see her today and they all made the experience so beautiful! They don't make you feel like your being hustled or rushed, they tend to you from beginning to end! They made the moment special with a song for dad and daughter when the dress was revealed and it made the whole moment beautiful! Thank you so much for all of your help and for making all of us feel special as we celebrate this moment with our daughter. Next week we will be going with her grandma and they are already planning on making that a great experience when we go back . Thank you, thank you, thank you!
