My boyfriend was super excited about this place, he had been looking at reviews and menus for several months. He finally got me to go and we ordered some food to go, he had the sesame beef, steamed rice, and hot sour soup, I had the jalapeno chicken, fried rice, and wonton soup. This was about 7:50 on Saturday, 2-21-2015 and we got back to our place about 8 and he started to eat his food. I opened my box and THE FIRST THING I PICKED UP TO PUT IN MY MOUTH HAD A LOOOOONG HAIR ATTACHED TO IT. Needless to say it grossed me out to no end. We drove back there right before they closed and I was as nice as I could be when I told him and he said he would remake the meal ASAP, which was really good since they were literally closing up. I showed him the hair and he said "sorry". But in the next breath he had the audacity to tell me that none of his chefs had any hair on their heads, they were all bald, as if to say it must have come from my head. I chose to let that go and not get into an argument with him since he was nice enough to remake my plate. We got back to our place with my "freshly" cooked meal and can you guess what happened.....YEP ANOTHER LOOOOONG HAIR, THIS TIME WRAPPED AROUND A JALAPENO!!!! I know that it was not the same plate I brought in since that was still sitting at the front counter, it was a new plate of the same item with the same FREAKING HAIRY PROBLEM. It now makes me wonder if their chefs have NO hair on their heads, what part of their body did those hairs come from???? For me this is the HOUSE OF NO JOY.
UPDATE::: I took it back on Sunday 2-22-15 and the owner actually ACUSED me of placing both hairs in my meals. It did not matter to him that my hair is brown and both hairs were long and blonde, nor did it matter that both of those plates came back to him with NO FOOD MISSING, I would never eat from a plate with hair on it. He slammed the money for the food on the counter, actually making me fear for what this crazy man might do next. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE EVER. I am now on a mission to close their restaurant, no one should be treated the way that man treated me and I will see to it that he never...

My 2nd visit here was sadly my last. I ordered the same soup which I had the first time, but to go. I was given some sort of sloppy leftovers. When I got home to discover this I called and stated that the soup simply wasn’t the same as my last visits and the manager told me it’s because I wasn’t seeing it in a “big bowl” like before. I told him this soup looked blended up with little pieces like leftovers unlike last time which had whole pieces in it. He said all he could do was refund me. So I drove all the way back (never touched the soup and brought it with me). When I asked for him at the desk he walked up. No greeting as I greeted him to explain why I was there. He simply put the money on the table and walked away. No sorry for the inconvenience. Didn’t look at the soup to see what I was talking about. No acknowledgement. He simply walked away. It’s for that poor customer service by the manager of this establishment that I will No longer be paying patronage here. I no longer recommend this place.
Initial review: Great sit down style restaurant. Cozy, good food and decent sized portions. I recommend it if you’re looking for some good...
Read morepeople total of four at the table for lunch didn't know that I was going to have to pay $56 it is crazy how is this a lunch special? There's nothing special about the food or the price. lunch specials start at 9.99 the food is not worth that price you would think you would get better quality lunch food. it's the same crap from years ago the same dried rice no flavor kids could make, over salted food. Even the crunchy noodles for the soup are stale and the atmosphere. but the guy keeps raking in the dough not sure how he does and I'm in the wrong business. I know about the place and I can't stand the food it's just that I had to take my stepdad out to lunch and he likes this place but I think he just friends the owner. My debt paid and never again. I even remember in 2000 when the covid pandemic hit the owner got in a panic himself and he started to shift the prices to 12.99 for a lunch special plus $2 processing for something I don't know I still can't believe to call in the order for pickup?? Why do I have to pay for increased prices because an owner is like the ones in the store buying all the toilet paper then he...
