London Pub — Restaurant in San Antonio

Used to be my go to bar, not so much anymore though. No food but they do have Karaoke; live music & a dj on certain nights. There is also a cool outdoor smoking area. A couple pool tables, dartboards, TV screens for sports, a jukebox, Large Jenga & Connect 4 I think..... but their service is 'spotty' to say the least. There are a couple of chicks with ... Well attitudes. (Chick drama...Such pettiness. Blech! 🤮) If they don't like you they'll let u know by ignoring you. (And I speak for several women, as I've witnessed it happen on various occassions). I'm an outgoing, talkative, spirited person & don't know what their dealio is (well, I do, but whatever....)& regardless of the treatment this last time I held my tongue, said a 'lil prayer 4 them, kissed it up to the universe &, well....as far as I'm concerned.... it's their loss bcuz I'm an excellent tipper. I've been coming to this bar regularly for the last seven years or so, and I can't think of any reasons to not keep going. The people who work here are nice and knowledgeable, and I've seen many bartenders and managers come and go, but the vibes have relatively been consistent. The new manager, Colin, has put a noticeable effort in increasing SM presence which hasn't always been the case. Throughout the week, most days have something happening. There is usually live music, trivia, or karaoke throughout the week. Every now and then, beer and liquor representatives will come hold an event to showcase certain products. If you're just there to chill and have fun, there are pool tables, darts, and a large connect four game to play. There is also a back patio that is covered and away...

Stopped by to wait out the traffic. Drank 3 beers, smoked 3 cigarettes in about an hour and a half, and realized that this place has a lot of regulars, all of them interesting (even the bartender, who actually mingled with us all).
