Going to my local Popeyes I experience a few problems , starting with the wait time before my order being patient I asked them what I would like , answering “ is that all “ rushing me seemingly frustrated so I continue and say that I’m finish as I drive up suddenly wanting to add something to my order so when I went to the window they replied “ you have to go around back and drive-through if you want to add something to your order “ after previously waiting patiently so I asked them If I could add two more sandwiches and they said no and continue to be rude and etc. so then after disregarding that I would like to add onto my order I leave after getting my food when arrived home living seven minutes away , I eat my food I notice the breading on the chicken was like eating nothing and the chicken being cold I threw away my food losing appetite knowing the difference between fresh food and cold food I usually go to Popeyes Rarely experience problems so the next day I called to talk to the manager after doing a review about their customer service and the way the employees were acting yesterday so when they answered , I asked to speak to the manager saying “ this is the manager “ her name was “ Jessica “ so after speaking to her on the phone she says as long as you have the receipt I can give you a refund I said OK I’ll be there at 6:30 Well understood she never mention to bring back the food When I arrive there at 6:35 on September 7 I drove past to the speaker waiting in line for 20 to 30 minutes when I finally got to the window I gave them the receipt they close the door talking to each other , I mentioned that Jessica said that I could “ come here today for the refund also suggesting to replace the food “ knowing very well no food was to be bought so after they were contemplating back-and-forth one of the same employees that was rude to me was there I suggested to the manager that I could move up so y’all can figure this out after doing that I waited in line 45 more minutes longer seeing car by car passed me up previous saying that they couldn’t do a refund and That Jessica never talk to me , then I reverse back slightly so I could get some attention rather than ignoring the situation after doing that and even before doing that the employees were acting very rude so then the guy from the kitchen comes outside after all the cars are gone saying you have to go so waiting for them to refund me they started antagonizing me cussing from the window to the customers behind me saying “ you know he’s one of those customers “ saying the b**tch and blaming me for not handling the situation & more ! when I’m just waiting on them , the lady Jessica mention I can also get food previously but they changed there mind afterwards feeling a Oblivious and ignored !! from 6:35 pm to 7:45 I waited patiently , they called the cops I mentioned to the cops all I want is my receipt then I’ll leave and didn’t block the entire drive thru people still passing me up , I want to be contacted !
THIS WAS NOT RIGHT , After mentioning they could replace my food or refund it over the phone and handle it a whole different way , While calling me names and acting inappropriately, these employees and manger “ Jessica “ need to be written up I’m very upset and can no long feel any appetite for Popeyes for a good while unless resolved with a higher authority!

Read moreI know going here on Christmas eve at 6pm may of been a risk. We were interested in another place but decided on Popeyes because we love the seasoning and heat. It took about an hour to get to the window, but again my rating isnt even for that. There was a decent line that got even longer after us. Two people in front of us ended up just leaving. One before even reaching the speaker and the other directly in front of us. I tried my best to over hear what was said since i figured they may of been out of something, from the drivers face of disappointment. We pulled up and told them we wanted a four piece chicken meal, "Spicy" and she repeated "Spicy" back to me to confirm, with a large drink and Cajun fries. Then i checked to see if they had two other different things but they informed us they only had chicken and were making nothing else due to them closing soon, which was fine. I picked a 2 piece chicken, the same as the previous order, with same flavor large drink and Cajun fries.
The main issue we had was that fact by the time we got home which was 7:40 due to high traffic, we could see none of our chicken was spicy. The first bite we took, nothing, no heat. So just to double check if there was an error with maybe just one, but no. Every piece we got had no heat at all. There was no way we could return for exchange because by the time we would of got there, we guessed it would be closed. Someone standing outside by a car was informing someone else they close at 8pm tonight. Every single piece was original. No spice/flavor as to the only reason why we went here. Felt like they picked up KFC a block over and just handed that out. Not sure if whoever was cooking did not know they were not making Spicy or if they had none and refused to inform the customers. I would of appreciated being informed, if they knew, so then we could of made a purchase else where for something completely different, then giving money over for plain original. You leave with those hopes and dreams of a tasty meal destroyed and demoralized. I hadn’t been since before the pandemic after a string of horrible experiences. This evening I decided to give them another chance. My mistake. I should have known better. After waiting in the drive through for longer than I normally would and watching the vehicle in front of me pull away, I finally arrived at the call box. As I prepare to drive off after several moments of not even being acknowledged, a man comes over the speaker to say that he is not taking orders because the wait for chicken is too long. Excuse me?!?! All you serve is chicken. Why would anyone else be here? Why would the wait be long when all you serve is chicken? How is this place even still open? I got neither good service nor fried chicken at what will be my last attempt at this Popeyes.
