Sometimes it feels so REFRESHING to have a great customer-service experience. I knew exactly the Herman Miller chair I wanted, and Copenhagen had it in stock when all the online sellers had wait lists as long as two months. Even better, Copenhagen's price for the model with the specific features I wanted was CHEAPER than anything I saw online. I called to ask about the chair, and the manager was so welcoming and informative. After I purchased it through their online site, we arranged a time for me to pick it up from their San Antonio warehouse the next day. I brought it home, and it was exactly what I wanted--I had an earlier model of the chair already--but the arm rests seemed just a bit loose. When I wrote to the manager, she replied right away by both email and phone. She even arranged to have one of Copenhagen's skilled repairmen come to my house with another chair (same model, brand new) so I could see whether the one I bought was just an "exception." Indeed, it was, and they urged me to take the new chair so I would feel as good as possible about the purchase. Mind you, this all happened extremely quickly, totally according to my own schedule, and it was their idea--not mine. They were so accommodating, enthusiastic, and WARM, and they continually told me that they would do whatever it took to make me 100% satisfied with the chair. Clearly, such a quick turnaround--and with a visit, comparison, and exchange at my own home overseen by an expert--wouldn't be possible with an online seller. Sometimes it's worth it to pay extra for such service. It's even better when the price tag is CHEAPER, as it was at Copenhagen. Thanks so much, Allison and David--you made my week. And my back is thanking you right now as I enjoy this...
Read moreVery disappointed in my experience here. Linda was our sales specialist and she decided not to help us with our sale because her other client who was in the store had the bigger sale (as she was bragging about) She told us to then text her with our name and details of what furniture we wanted to buy and she would then call us as the store was closing and she would be with her other sale for an extended period of time and the other staff that could have helped us had left already for the day. Our furniture that we were interested in buying was apart of their anniversary sale and unfortunately we missed out on that special because she never even returned our text or call when she specifically asked us to reach out to her in that way when she gave us her card. It has now been several weeks and we did go into the store once more since then and she paid us no attention. Now we have no interest in buying from this store and are very bummed and will not be returning as we do not...
Read morePicked up a manual swivel recliner that I was told would be new. Before we left with unboxed recliner we noticed the base of the legs had worn rubber / plastic bases that looked USED. I went into the store to relook at the displayed recliners and noticed silver spots on the black painted legs. A sales person approached and I informed him that a used recliner was provided. He was not at all helpful. When we unpacked recliner we noticed silver spots on the black painted base legs and a handle and worn rounded rectangular plastic / rubber feet. The first person I called the same day was very responsive and investigated. Findings communicated included that indeed I wrongly received a used returned recliner. A new recliner would be delivered. In the mean time the recliner tilted over when I reached left; the whole recliner toppled over. I contacted the salesperson and manager; both are...
