It is very unusual and now unfortunately that I rate this place 1 star. The food is always fresh and fulfilling with top notch service to match. But, not two days ago. We pulled up to the drive through and started to place our order. The young man was soft spoken but, then out of nowhere a very loud and disturbing squelching sound came out of the speaker. The young female voice yelled āstop itā and then the male employee said hold on a minute, then another female took over for the rest of our order. Then that young female said something again interrupting our order again and her words were āI loā that was it and she now came across with a very low monotoned voice it sound like she was about to say āI love youā. We received our order and got home and noticed that we did not receive our orange chicken on the bigger plate order. I called the store and Levi answered as I asked for the manager. He said he was the lead and that he could assist me with my displeasure on my visit. I explained myself and he quickly said, that was not what I heard. I asked my wife if she heard what I heard as she confirmed what we heard and he said Sir, I assure you that is not what you heard. He had her headpiece was on and talked through her headpiece while she was outside throwing trash,. I said I know what heard as it was very unprofessional and rude to hear a very loud squelch like that as I ordered. He did not apologize about that but was more concerned about protecting the young girlās verbiage. He did say that he would take my order number and put it in a log to get a free plate. I obliged as I was looking forward to the orange chicken. I showed up the next day and they had no record of it. I once again explained myself and they obliged with the free plate. Iāve previously written 5 star reviews on this place and Iām not one to want or get free meals. I just wanted to voice my concerns on the poor visit plus the orange chicken is the best and I want to speak to the GM. But she is out on PTO. Iāve met her before and complimented her on her staffs outstanding service and quality of of food is always on point. Hopefully, this is the first and last time this occurs. I would literally drive over 50 miles just to eat here. Their food is truly the freshest in Bexar and Guadalupe county...

I understand good help is hard to find these days but if you're not in the service industry what are we doing serving food to customers? If people are not happy with their jobs, if they can't handle the customers or the dinner rush.... they should quit or get another job. I don't need to get your horrible customer service or lack there of. When I complained to the manager about a bad attitude from one of the servers he brushed it off... no questions as to what happened, didn't ask who was involved or what happened. I know EXACTLY what the server and the manager do. I've done it, I worked my way from dishwasher to general manager for a Chinese Food Restaurant in California called Pick Up Stix. I did it for years eventually becoming an area manager. I know all too well customer service and customer satisfaction. I've been there and done that for years. It seems like today's society is self entitle, gone are the days of customer service and customer satisfaction. I'm sure this review is going to land on deaf ears... nobody cares anymore. It doesn't matter they'll keep servicing food to customers with a horrible attitude and people will still spend their money with Panda. My hopes truly are that more and more people speak up about this and other unsatisfactory services so we may be able to bring back the reminder that this is their job and without customers their restaurant doesn'tsurvive and their checks stop being paid because the restaurant closes. That probably won't happen because too many people are afraid to speak up... as for me all of my chinese food visits that I did weekly STOP today! NO MORE! At least not from me. If you want HORRIBLE SERVICE you've come to the right place. If you want good old fashioned manners, respect and customer service... find a different location to buy your Chinese food from. Have not been to Panda Express in over 10 years but every time I went to one anywhere in the country I thought it was always pretty good until today!!!!
Ordered the food when I arrived and they were going to make a fresh batch of a certain dish. They pulled everything and put in styrofoam and I waited about 30 minutes and during that time I questioned if the food was staying hot and was assured it was. Once it was all done I asked this young girl about whether or not if it was hot and she said yes and she proceeded to show me the fresh dish they just made and you could see the steam but I asked about the beef and broccoli and she showed it me and I put my hand over it and it was not hot. So I asked her to have it remade and again told me it was hot and she rolled her eyes at me! Wrong thing to do! I blew a gasket!
I am a paying customer and I am feed up with poor customer service! Young people need to be taught about customer service!
I got Mr refund and then called customer service and filed a complaint. I am done done with thisā¦I will pay a visit to the GMā¦
I will never go back except to deal...
