Situated in Stone Ridge Market, it blends classic brunch fare (pancakes, crepes, eggs Benedict) with regional twists like breakfast tacos, shrimp & grits, and even poutine .

Your Saturday Brunch Experience
🕒 Wait Time & Ambience • A 45‑minute wait on a busy weekend—fairly typical for a brand-new hotspot on a Saturday brunch rush. • Bright, modern, spotless interior—cleanliness was clearly a priority.
👩🍳 Service & Staff • Warm and friendly servers who clearly want to do well. • Still room for improvement: basics like offering cream with coffee or butter with pancakes were missed. These small oversights suggest additional staff training might elevate an already friendly team to stellar.
🍽️ Food Quality & Portion Size • Flavor and quality: excellent—bold, fresh tastes in every bite. • Portion sizes generous; despite premium prices, the value felt justified by the abundance of food.
💵 Price Point • Slightly high-end pricing, consistent with other upscale breakfast spots like First Watch or Snooze . • With hearty portions and top-tier ingredients, cost doesn’t feel out of line.
⸻
👍 Highlights • Presentation: Dishes are carefully plated—drizzles, dustings, vibrant ingredients—all part of Pür & Simple’s Instagram-savvy style . • Menu variety: Beyond pancakes and eggs, there’s Canadian maple upgrades, poutine, breakfast tacos, burritos, quesadillas, mimosas, bellinis, and more . • Ambience: Clean, cheerful environment with a bright, family-friendly vibe—ideal for a weekend brunch treat.
⸻
👎 Areas to Improve • Service training: Ensure servers include small but significant items (cream, butter) without prompting. • Wait-time management: Forty-five minutes is long; better waitlist communication or small welcome touches (like water or menus while seated) could ease the experience.

Summary
Pür & Simple brings a fresh, modern brunch experience to Stone Oak with high marks for cleanliness, presentation, and flavor. Despite steep weekend waits and a couple of service hiccups (coffee sans cream, pancakes sans butter), the food impresses—and the lively, well-appointed space makes it worth a return.
If you’re after generous portions, inventive dishes, and a sunny ambiance, this is a must-visit for brunch in San Antonio—just maybe skip the rush hour and come early to...
Read moreI give a star right now because of quite a few issues. We went on Sunday morning, which of course we expected a wait. (We had 30 ahead of us). Sat in the car since my grandparents are 92 and 94 yrs old, when we got to about 7th we sat outside. I checked again and they were able to seat us at that point. We were very grateful. We ordered our food and waited, and waited, and waited. 3 cups of coffee....finally after 50 min I asked if they could make sure our order didnt get lost or canceled. One of the managers (wearing black so not positive) apologized, said they had issues in the kitchen and our meal would be taken care of, please forgive us, etc. Food miraculously finished in 2 min of him walking away. My French toast was not even warm anymore, so must have been sitting awhile, my grandparents each had the egg white omelet, but missing cheese and barely any mushrooms , so very tasteless. Potatoes were delicious. Husband got the black and blue and said his was ok but also not hot. When it came time for the check, not only was it NOT "taken care of" but there was an extra entrée on there. (Waiter at least caught it) $86 and change for 4 .. .which wouldn't have been bad if it were decent time and hot, tasty food. Another reason for only a 3 .. my grandfather wanted to order a childs plate, waiter said sorry its for 10 and under..... so I really suggest that if someone requests it and it isnt the whole table wanting childs portions, it really should be honored, at 94 you dont have an appetite like a 20-60yr old. Anyway, not a fantastic experience at all. There are such good looking foods on the menu that we would have liked to come back and try but it will be me and hubby alone, on a day they arent busy and maybe ill have a better review to write. As of now I do not recommend going if there is a waitlist, and do not recommend omelets or French toast. (Yes to...
Read moreThis was our first time going to the restaurant. It was very busy on a Saturday morning/ afternoon. They are open 7 days a week. We put our name on the waiting list. It was a 45 to 60 minute wait. You can view where you are on the waitlist. After about 50 minutes we got a text that our table was ready. It took another 3 or 4 minutes before we were seated. I can not remember our waiter's name but he was very polite and nice. He was new so there so he was just letting us know that. If you do go he is an African American male with light brown or green eyes with very curly brown hair cute. He was so helpful. The food was delicious. However, there was an issue when a manager spoke to the table behind us and to the right of us and asked how everything was going but blatantly ignored us and walked to the back never asking us how things were going or how our food was. That was not cool. Mind you we are 2 grown women with a child and because of our skin color, you could not give us the same respect. It was time to go after that. We paid and left a tip and left. As we were leaving we ran into 2 workers and asked the name of the manager. To our surprise, he is not a manager but just a trainer. He is not from her but from Canada which is where the restaurant stems from. I do not recall if his name was David or something. The young ladies did give us his name as well as the manager's name but I have forgotten. So, if you do go visit this place I hope all the staff is trained in how to be respectful to whomever comes into their establishment to spend their money. Because that was not a pleasant experience being they have only been open for a week. Hopefully we will be back soon and the service and staff will be...
