This happened a few months back around April or may. I just haven’t had time to write my review. This happened during the day time no later then 3pm during a work week. I ordered 8 piece nugget with a large drink and fries. My order was about $10-$12. I always request for avocado lime ranch with my order. I am aware of the extra charge of .50. I placed my order with the young lady and paid with my debit card. As I reached the drive threw window I was told before giving me my order that I wasn’t charged for the avocado lime ranch. Mind you I had no cash on me and I paid with my debit card. Then I was told that if I still wanted the avocado lime ranch. I stated yes. Then I was told that I needed to pay them the .50. I stated to them that I had no cash and I don’t think I should have to use my debit for .50 especially if it wasn’t my fault that it was not charged to my order. This was coming from the manager. Then some little girl starts telling me with attitude saying that regardless I was going to have to pay for it. Then the manager took the avocado lime ranch out of the bag and gave me my order. I stated to the manager are you seriously not going to give me the avocado lime ranch. It’s not my fault I wasn’t charged for it. If I had cash I would pay for it and I shouldn’t have to pay using my debit card for .50. She refuse to let me have the avocado lime. I then said then I like a full refund. She didn’t hesitate to refund me the $10-$12 instead of letting me have the avocado lime ranch which would have been a .50 loss. Instead she rather had taken a loss of $10-12 instead. I have always been happy with chick fil a. When something like this happens I’ve have never been given problems like I got at this location. I haven’t been back since to any chick fil a. I rather now go to raising Cain and I always ask for extra sauce and they always charge me correctly for anything extra I order. If they didn’t I’m sure they wouldn’t have an issue with not charging me if they made the error. Not sure if I’ll ever return to chick fil a all...
Read moreWe had a phenomenal experience at this Chick-fil-A! As soon as we walked in the door, we spotted an open table where we would have a good view of the play room for when our young children would go in to play. The restaurant operator happened to be at a nearby table, and he noticed me carrying our baby, immediately jumped up and asked me if I would like a high chair. I thanked him and he went straight over and brought the high chair to the table and attached the baby place mat to the table for us. Meanwhile, my husband had gone up to order our food, and before he had even returned to the table with our drinks, a staff member brought the food to the table. Everything we ate was delicious, and all 3 of our kids heartily agreed. Throughout the meal, a staff member would occasionally come over to see if we needed anything else, and they kindly brought over whatever we needed right away. They also came over to clear the table for us when we had finished. We were so impressed and so appreciative of the prompt and professional service and the gracious and friendly attitudes of the restaurant operator and all the staff members. We also greatly appreciated that the play room was open, super clean, and in terrific condition. Our kids had a wonderful time playing in there after the meal was over. The restrooms were also very clean and tidy, and a staff member was restocking paper towels when we went in. We have so many good things to say about this Chick-fil-A and our wonderful experience there; we highly recommend it and will absolutely be...
Read moreFrequent customer in this location because I live nearby, and also in the Stone Oak area since I work near there. This location has given me the wrong order more times than I can count. It's kinda crazy. No other location has given be incorrect orders other than this one. I rarely ever see anyone calling the shots, especially in the drive through, where I frequently get the wrong order. The employees are young, like any other chick fil a, but distracted to say the least. It seems like they are always fumbling around over who ordered what, and inevitably, still give out the wrong order.
In the afternoons, past 5 o'clock you can witness a group of more than 5 employees having a good time while giving out the wrong orders, it's happened so many times that I can only assume I'm not the only one. The drive thru operator is distracted by all the different kinds of conversations and jokes going around that they key in the wrong order. I'm not against fun in the workplace, but at least be attentive to the customers order, and if you're gonna chime in on conversations, then at least get the order right and communicate it correctly to your peers. Otherwise, you're not operating up the the standard that I'm sure Chick fil A expects.
Anyways, this is constructive criticism meant to help. I would suggest having someone calling shots that takes pride in what they do. Because after all, this is Chick Fil A, the most popular and highest grossing fast food chain the United...
