I love doing all my amazon returns at kohls its super easy and convenient. However this is the 2nd time we buy something ay kohls that states 60% off price. So we bought 2 itmes, its price tags shows $14.99 so 60% off final price should be 5.99! Not $8.99 bit they give you the 8.99 price as the final price. Thatvisnt 60 % off the original price. Plus We had another 15 % off coupon from the Amazon return which I used, but the sale price shown on receipt was still $8.99 - 1.35 (15%) now 7.64...instead of each being $5.99 - 1.35 (15%) $5.09!! Each items final price should have been $5.09 Not a final price of $7.64!! Why are the registers calculating the percentage amounts incorrectly?? They are not respecting their own advertising discounts!. Instead of giving you the actual 60% discount amount off they have advertised, they're prices are always higher.
The 1st time, this happened, an Christmas item was on sale from $9.99 to $7.99 minus 40% off for final price of $4.79 but then when we scanned the item, the registrer only took the 40% off of the original $9.99 price, not the $7.99 sale price!! The cashier didnt know how to answer that saying it did give you the discount. I said yes, it did but it took the discount off the higher price of $9.99 not the sale price of 7.99 its advertised at!! Kohls is very sneaky like that! Even if you argue and calculate the discounts and physically show them, they don't honor the actual price it should be. Not very good business practices if they want to keep us...
Read moreI was just at this location at 5pm Central time. I originally came in looking for an men's assessory bag. I couldn't find one so I stopped in the men's wallet section. I'm trying to pick the wallet I want by trying my cards inside the wallet. I assume that's okay since the wallets are half out their package. The associate working in men's putting boxers way came up to me and rudely with a disgusted face and asked me if I needed help. I said no I'm just looking. And she said okay in a smart tone. Then she proceeds to stand there pretending to do something as if she was Lost Prevention. I then ask the associate if it's not okay to put the cards in the wallet, twice. Once I had to repeat myself I just said nevermind and took my business elsewhere. The associate needs to learn how to communicate. If something is not okay then tell the customer and not just stand there and badly act like you are doing something. I can imagine if that was a black person. You just created an awkward situation for no reason. Next time ask.
Communication not accusations.
Also work on how you approach and talk to people.
If I was HR or the store manager you...
Read moreAll good with shopping for some birthday gifts, but today was horrible with wait time to get to a cashier. A cashier was checking out a lady who had a bunch of merchandise (which I have no problem with). Two of us waiting in line. Another cashier was there, but apparently for self-checkout (which had one there). Manager Raul saw us two waiting and he rather have us wait because he couldn't make the decision to have the lady help us. Minutes go by and about 3 more people come get in line and we're both still waiting. He finally asks the girl to go to register to handle checkouts. Felt like I was at Walmart where it's all about using self-checkout. I'm shopping at the store, spending my money, and now this Kohl's prefers for you to check out yourself instead of having someone else readily available. I guess it's too slow to have multiple cashiers for customers who choose not to do self-checkout. I also wanted to make a payment, but I'm sure they would "help" at self-checkout with that too, but I don't get paid to be a cashier and make my payments while I'm there. I could've done it online if that was my preference for the day,...
