Tealicious Cafe — Restaurant in San Antonio

As always, Tealicious Cafe is pretty good. First time having it in this area and at this location. We tipped $3 on our order. The orange haired girl didn’t say, “You’re Welcome,” after we said, “Thank You.” She said, “Thank You,” to the guy before us and we were thinking that maybe it’s because he didn’t tell her Thank you. But when we said Thank You, she said nothing. Having a bad day? Did we take your Boba? Don’t want to work there anymore? Well hey, we tipped over 20% on our order and I’m sure the tips are shared so why no super sweet smiley customer service? The cashier guy was nice and accommodating. I’d bump it down to three stars just for the disregard, but it’s not Tealicious Cafe’s fault. Bad day, hate your job, tired- choose a different job, but don’t take it out on the customers. Thank you. Have had boba here about half a dozen times in the last few months, consistently good. Original cream tea, black sugar tea, Thai tea, cream taro all excellent. Chai tea was not the best, would skip that one. Also had a pineapple juice smoothie/slushy that was really good, but it kind of froze the tapioca so would get without next time.

Edit 6/28/22: multiple times I have gone between 10-11 and they didn't have tapioca ready, and actually have a permanent sign for it, so I guess it happens like everyday. Irritating, you should have things ready at 10 when the store opens. Docking stars for that.

My one critique is the same one I have with many other boba tea sellers and that’s making the boba an extra add on you pay extra for rather than included by default and something you’d opt out of.
