Famous Wok — Restaurant in San Antonio

I ordered through DD . I called the restaurant and spoke to a lady to please send me hot sauce, and cover my drink. She did not followed the instructions given. I called the restaurant spoke to a young man stating he was the manager, his responded to me in a rude manner, he said so what you want me to do about it ?? Rude, rude!!! , awful customer service, then he tells me , it is not illegal not to cover the drinks, are you kidding me as a restaurant manager , for safety and sanitary reasons drinks should be covered with a bag or tape to avoid anyone tampering or sipping from your drink!! Not only that I called the restaurant for a reason and gave this woman the instructions because the Door das app did not had an option to enter any instructions , which I explained to this rude manager . He abruptly hangs up on me!! mind you , I was not insulting him . I said you need to coach your people to pay attention to instructions and improve CS . I want the OWNER of famous wok to see my review and do something about this if not your business is going to continue getting bad reviews for poor customer service, food is great, CS is awful, make a change in your restaurant , your manager is not fit...

Went to get some food and after I swiped my card the workers told me “it didn’t go through”. So I checked my bank account online statement only to find that it DID go through and got deducted from my account. The employees refused to acknowledge this and withheld my food from me. I had to get security involved and they told me it wasn’t the first time an incident like this happened at their restaurant. I even went to the chick fil a across from famous wok to buy a drink to see if it was an issue with my card but the chick fil a purchase went through NO PROBLEM. I had to wait over an hour for the manager to get there so we could work something out but he REFUSED to give me my food and even put his hand in between me and the food when I went to reach for it. I was fed up and asked for a refund and that was the end of it. Wouldn’t recommend, their food is mediocre at best, overpriced and you might get scammed. Go somewhere else without...

I've been coming to this place for a long time and always liked the food and the workers. But recently, out of curiosity, I asked one of the employees if they get the tips that people leave on the computer, and they told me they don't. That was really upsetting to hear, because I always thought my tips were going straight to them. Finding out they never see that money feels wrong. When customers leave tips, it's because we want the workers to receive them. To make matters worse, I've also noticed that the boss seems cold towards the employees and doesn't appear to treat them well. This lack of respect for their staff, combined with the tip issue, has really changed my perspective.
