I’ve heard about this place from several people, and finally had an opportunity to give it a try. I don’t typically spend $$ on a breakfast unless I’m on traveling vacation I’m pretty simple and that “C” Barrel place is fine for me. But I’m so glad I splurged on myself this weekend and Flavor Rich delivered and was so worth the wait! The presentation was beautiful and sometimes pretty food isn’t always tasty food, but this was not the case. Some friends and I went early to try to beat the crowds we heard about since the space is smaller. Lovely well done simple interior but very cozy and nice. Our waiter Franklin was personable, down to earth and funny. I figured I would splurge on the waffles with fried lobster since I’ve never had fried lobster. I must say those waffles were so fluffy and delicious I’m syrup person, but I took the first bite just to get a real taste for texture to gauge my syrup use. And I never touched that syrup the entire meal those waffles were on point and without the syrup. I cut into my lobster tail and took my first bite and it was crispy, well seasoned and delicious. My next bite of lobster I dipped into some sauce the waiter suggested for it and OMG that sauce was amazing! I don’t know what was in that sauce but WOW! They need to bottle that up so I have it for my next family/friends seafood boil and I’m not sharing! I’m so excited to go again so I can give the other menu items a try. Came about 30 minutes after opening and was immediately sat, by the time I finished to leave I overheard other patrons saying there was an hour wait. So, the early bird definitely gets the worm here. All of the staff was so joyous and helpful, a pleasant experience in comparison to places where you can tell staff doesn't want to be there. Franklin, my server, was amazing!!! i-land boi, you can hear it in his beautiful accent. I just wish he had told me my eyes were bigger than my stomach when ordering because I was NOT prepared for the massive portion of food that touched my table lol. Ordered the French toast flight, expecting to get tiny squares/ 2 bite portions; I was so wrong! They brought out the biggest dangum plate of French toast I've ever witnessed. I still have 2 left over! I ordered the passion fruit lemonade and wasn't too pleased with it but hey, there's more than enough flavors to choose from next time.
