For those looking to have Provident repair or service their cherished items, think twice! Go to a professional and qualified shop. Late 2017 I asked their Fort Myers shop to service my Hublot Big Bang, they obliged telling me that they had authorised Hublot status. My watch was allegedly serviced and upon receipt of the watch back it was returned to me damaged. It has never worked correctly since. I have just recently had a few of my watches go in for a service to Watches of Switzerland, London, with the Hublot being one of them. I have received the detailed and professional details Watches of Switzerland to confirm what they are going to do with my timepiece:- Full service: Dismantling of case, dismantling of movement, ultrasonic & steam cleaning of case & bracelet (where applicable), cleaning of movement, lubricating of movement, testing of seals/ gaskets and replacement where appropriate, re-assembly of dial & hands, re-assembly of watch, full water & pressure resistance test (where appropriate), 5 day time-keeping test, 2 year warranty, replace worn movement parts, replace missing screw, new mainspring, new reverser wheel, new seals. Speaking to their expert team they have confirmed that whoever opened my watch had no idea what they were doing and have damaged the mechanism. What an absolute disgrace. Its costing me almost £1000 or $1300 to have it serviced and sorted out, like I said steer well clear of...
Read moreI cannot rank this jewelry store high enough. I bought my wedding bands from another store (I bought two of the same so there would be one on either side of my engagement ring). I had to custom order my rings because only one was in stock and wasn’t told that they were not returnable. I ended up hating my rings when they came because they blatantly did not match my engagement ring when everything was put together. I dropped into Provident Jewelry for suggestions on what to do and it was such a blessing in disguise. It took Eduardo not even half a second to see that my rings did not match. He was very honest and gave me several options on what to do to try and get the value out of my rings. He was incredibly kind and empathetic and really understood the artistry behind fine jewelry. The first store I went to did not show any remorse over me wasting thousands of dollars and hating something that should be incredibly special to me. I had the exact opposite experience at Provident. Eduardo took the time to help me pick out another ring and showed me the key things to look for in matching jewelry. I highly recommend shopping here for jewelry. They will help you find what YOU like and will not pressure you into buying something that you’re not sure on. I seriously cannot say enough good things about my experience with them. Thank...
Read moreFound them on line, called to ask questions, drove over an hour to get there and it was a waste of my time....while they state they purchase quality items and "pay more" that was not the case.....offered me $50. each for two very nice MontBlanc pens..?? (One was never used, new)...were not interested in Avedon 14k cufflinks, ok not too many men use cufflinks today, but they sell on eBay for $250 and up....and when I presented an over 1c diamond, brilliant white asking for an approximate value they would only offer under $2,000. Would not give me an approximate value....let me just say that what they offered was not "paying more". The diamond was purchased almost 50 years ago for $1,000. So they are trying to tell me the value is less than $2,000. !...plus there are 20 additional diamonds on band.....greedy and not forth coming...thought they were smart and more knowledgeable.....Just greedy and looking to take advantage of people who don't know the value of...
