Good Deals Appliances — Local services in Cape Coral

Good Deals (Ft Meyers) is our ONLY "go to" store for any appliance and it should be yours as well! We have purchased two appliances from Good Deals in the last 3 years. The first was a refrigerator- 3 years ago and the second a dishwasher- 2 years ago. The refrigerator has been acting up for some time and on occasion causing food to freeze. I don't wish this experience on anyone. It happened randomly on several occasions and your just never prepared for this aggravating situation. After several disappointing repair calls, I decided it was time to ask Good Deals to help me out. Especially after I was told all components of the refrigerator are in working order. I had the pleasure of working with Brandon who is the Sales floor manager at the Ft. Meyers location. He was absolutely a pleasure to work with and monumental in helping me! I would not be writing this review if it wasn't for him! Brandon escalated this issue as he understood that something definitely was amiss. A few days had passed, and I even reached out to Brandon to find out if there was hope that anything could be done to have the issue resolved. He assured me he was working on this and will follow up asap. Shortly thereafter Brandon called me back and said that Good Deals was issuing me a full refund! I could either go somewhere else and purchase a new refrigerator or purchase another one from Good Deals. Why would I go anywhere else with this type of rare genuine service! After all, it wasn't Good Deals fault that this happened, it was just a faulty unrepairable refrigerator. My husband and I went to straight back to Good Deals and purchased another one this past Saturday and our new refrigerator was delivered today, 3 days later-a great ending to a very frustrating situation! BUYER BEWARE!!

Following Hurricane Irma, we were stressed to find a replacement refrigerator quickly. We had had issues with Good Deals previously but decided to check out their stock, liked the Jenn Air 4-door model and purchased it.

After relying on our garage refrigerator and bags of ice purchased at the nearest gas station for weeks, we were excited to be getting a new refrigerator. That all changed on the "first delivery". They did a rush job, splattered water everywhere, gouged the frame to our front door (see photos in comment section on my Facebook post), left plastic and shipping materials all over the kitchen floor. The Refrigerator was also defective with a small dent and holes where the insulation had been injected into the casing.

They sent someone to look at the door frame and the refrigerator which was deemed returnable. After the exchange of the damaged product for the new one, the rep returned to repair the door frame. That is when we noticed the scratched cabinet that sits just inside the front door. I was told by the rep that he knew a "furniture guy" who could repair it. That was in October. I have yet to get anyone here to repair it.

That brings us to the second delivery, which went better - nice and very professional guys, clean and organized work habits.

Unfortunately the replacement refrigerator has had its share of problems: loud fans that sound like a blimp is in your kitchen (waiting on replacement), condensation on freezer drawer seal (waiting on replacement drawer), dripping water dispenser (fixed by tech).

I went to Good Deals on Thursday with my friend and was quickly greeted by Kyle. He welcomed us and asked what we were looking for and I told him that I was looking for a kitchen package. Kyle was very friendly and showed me exactly what I was looking for with several different options. When I made my decision on what I wanted, Kyle left for a few minutes and offered us a bottle of water. He recommended a couple different package options based off of what I liked. He was really thorough and went into real life examples as to how to utilize the appliances. I told him that I would go home and measure my space and think about it. I called Kyle twice before making a decision and was promptly answered on each phone call. My purchase was delivered on Saturday. Such quick delivery! Good Deals called twice to confirm the delivery time. Jason called me 30 minutes prior to arrival which was 2 hours earlier than I was told. That was totally fine as I was hoping they'd arrive earlier. Jason came to the front door, shook my hand, and explained that he would deliver, install, and hull away any unneeded appliance. Jason was super nice and very pleasant. He was also very professional which was much appreciated. He was thorough, clean, quick, and friendly. He did have help, but I didn't get to meet the other gentleman as he was helping getting the appliances in and worked on getting the old stuff out.
