During our recent visit to the restaurant, we had the pleasure of being served by Alethea, who was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we were seated, Alethea greeted us with a genuine smile and an infectious enthusiasm that made us feel incredibly welcome. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive; she provided insightful recommendations that catered perfectly to our diverse tastes and dietary restrictions.
Alethea's attention to detail was impeccable. She ensured that our drinks were always replenished, our table was neat, and that each dish was served at the ideal temperature. What struck us most was her ability to anticipate our needs without being intrusive, striking the perfect balance between attentiveness and giving us our space to enjoy the meal.
Moreover, Alethea went above and beyond by sharing the story behind some of our chosen dishes, adding a wonderful layer of context that enriched our dining experience. Her passion for hospitality shone through in every interaction, making our meal not just delicious, but truly memorable.
In addition to her exceptional service, Alethea’s warm and personable nature made us feel like more than just customers; we felt like guests in her home. It was clear that she takes great pride in her work and strives to make every guest's experience special.
In an industry where the quality of service can truly make or break a dining experience, Alethea stands out as a paragon of excellence. Her combination of professional expertise and personal touch is rare and deserves recognition. We will certainly be returning, not just for the fantastic food, but for the outstanding service provided by Alethea. I cannot recommend her highly enough to anyone visiting this establishment. Read moreMy wife and I enjoy eating out on our only day together. We especially enjoy Perkins Family Restaurant. Even though it is catering to elderly, senior citizen and or people on a fixed income ( I say that only because every time he can win it is 75% senior citizen clientele), get a very decent meal, portion size, for the price. We went to the one on Tamiami Trail RT 41, across from the Walmart, and Home Depot. The building is very small compared to other Perkins. We went in during off peak time. I myself and in the restaurant business, so I understand the nuances of how to run a restaurant. It's all the same. Watch food cost watch labor. The manager on duty was watching the front, seeding people, doing takeout at the cake display, and cashing out guests, all the while doing paperwork. I'm thinking he may be an MIT. Very friendly man. The place was very clean though it did smell like old mop water in the front vestibule oh, but that just tells me that they do clean. Our server was quick to appear even though she had four other tables. She was very friendly and bubbly. With anybody in this business knows is a rare find. She got her drinks and gave us a few moments came back to our order and even told us that she does not suggest a certain item when we asked for it. And suggested a higher price item. I know the game oh, but I went along with it anyway. Everything came out promptly hot, and no grease puddles on the plate. It was very good and we had a very nice experience. The server only came back 2 X and basically as a drive by to see if we were okay, and I'm okay with that because when I'm eating I don't want to be bothered frequent interruptions. You'll definitely be going back again as we always do I give it 3 1/2...
Read moreI ordered 3 dinners and an apple pie for Easter dinner. They said 20 minutes and it would be ready for pickup. When I got there, it wasn’t ready. That’s ok I understand as it was a holiday. So after paying, the gentlemen that cashed me out, said he would bring the order to our car for us. When he got to the car, the top dinner box flipped over in the bag. He handed the order to us. When we got home, the food was cold, they forgot mashed potatoes for my dinner and it looked like a pile of dog food... we live 25 minutes from the restaurant so I called them back. I spoke with the manager, and she apologized. She asked for my address and said she would send me a gift card in the mail to make it right. Guess that wasn’t honest either as nothing never came in the mail from their place of bussiness... I understand they were busy and it was a holiday.. but to get cold food after waiting extra time and forgetting part of the order wasn’t good. Not to mention the manager said they would make it right and they didn’t.... very disappointed with Perkins and I wouldn’t recommend their bussiness to anyone especially on...
