I am a comparatively new SC resident. Have been to this Albertsons on several occasions. After today, I will NEVER go back. Besides prices being much higher than other groceries in the area, the employees are rude and lack knowledge of the stores products. On 3 separate occasions, I have asked managers questions about prices and priducts...and all 3 times I have gotten unsatisfactory answers and attitude. The first time, I pointed out that the price I was charged did not match the price on the shelf....a reasonable question....got attitude and a begrudging price adjustment. The last 2 times I had issues with them being out of stock...so I asked when they might get more in. They weren't busy and were not helping anyone else. Today, I was looking for Martini and Rossi Sweet Vermouth. After asking 2 clueless employees where I might find it, I found they were out of stock. I asked a manager when more might be coming in......not an unreasonable question, right? I got a lecture how he had no idea when the grape growers had shipped to the factory, or when the manufacturer would ship to the warehouse or when the warehouse would ship to them. SHEESH!!! So I went to Ralph's where there was someone RIGHT IN THE LIQUOR SECTION who knew their inventory and showed me right to the IN STOCK sweet Vermouth!! Again, I will NEVER EVER shop at...
Read moreI am writing this review because of the incident that happened on 5/8/24 at 7 pm in the Pavilions parking with Andres. As I was approaching my car to put my groceries in my car, I heard a man screaming at me from behind, "do you hear me, you have to pay for that stuff. Do you hear me?" As I turned, I see one of their employees (His name is Andres) still screaming "You need to pay for that". I told him I paid for it and he said, "I didn't see you". He still doesn't come near me to talk to me or verify if I have the receipt and continues to yell. So, I go to him and show him the receipt. After looking at the receipt he says, "I guess you did" and walks away. Even after verifying the receipt, he is guessing that I have paid and is not certain about it. And he just presumed that I hadn't paid. It was a horrible experience to be screamed at like that when I have paid for my stuff and done nothing wrong. Very ill-mannered employee (Andres) who doesn't have basic elementary manners on how to talk to customers and apparently, he is a manager over there. I also brought this up to the director there on 5/9/24 at around 5 pm. Never going...
Read moreToday, just three days before Christmas, I needed several things from a very busy Pavilion store in San Clemente. Several of the employees were not only going above and beyond to help me, but to help everyone around me. Darrell showed me and two other ladies where different products were—even as he was putting things on the shelves. He was so polite and pleasant! Another employee, Peggy, stopped what she was doing and walked me over to where the baby formula was locked up due to its cost. She listened as I spoke to my daughter on my cell about what she needed for her baby’s visit. I didn’t even end up buying what she showed me, but she was so pleasant and had gone way out of her way to help me find the right product for my grandchild. Then checking out, I noticed that Anna was engaged and friendly to every single person, including myself. I’m so glad that I noticed their names, because this was an exceptional experience during a busy week. I don’t know who trains these people but probably they’ve been nice since they were born. I’m very thankful to have such great people working near me at the local Pavilions, which is new...
