Baja Fresh — Restaurant in San Clemente

Baja Fresh is Baja Fresh. They're pretty darn consistent, everywhere ya go/at each location. I like a lot of the items on their menu. I like their salsa bar. Food usually comes out relatively fast. No complaints.

At this location though -- Beware! If you eat outside (which is very nice, in the sun, umbrellas over the tables etc.) try to NOT leave anything on your table that you still want to eat... The birds around that area come swoop'n up food real quick! They're cute birds, but the little punks got darn near 1/2 of my burrito! Juuust fair warning.

Don't like the defective online ordering app. I tried to order online with the app twice. Was told that the order did not go thru' both times. So went to the store and bought it there. Then I received email saying that both the online orders were ready. Went back to the store which would not give me refund saying the store has nothing to do with the app. Had to eat tacos for several meals just so that the food will not be wasted. I am still waiting for the store manager to call me, don't think that is going to happen. There not even a link on the site to send in problem report. Overall a disappointing experience. ...

I called this morning to place a catering order. They do not open until 10:30 but the phone was answered on the second ring, at 10:18 am, with a pleasant employee on the line. I couldn't remember her name, but want to recognize her and her positive, can do attitude. She was VERY patient, kind and helped me through the entire ordering process. I was ordering a catering platter and an individual meal for a work luncheon this afternoon. She never made me feel like I needed to call once they had opened. It's rare to get great service these days so I wanted to make sure she knows how much I appreciated it today! Kudos to you...
